To get to this park, you go through the cutest little downtown! We only stayed one night, but the facilities were clean, the spots were spacious (we pull a 35' 5th wheel and didn't need to unhook from the truck with space to spare), and the area is peaceful and quiet. We traveled from VA and it's been a while since we've seen fireflies/lightening bugs and they were there in abundance! It seemed magical! With an open field behind the campground, we enjoyed the quietness of the warm night and felt... Read More

We stayed here for 2 nights. A very nice park and kept very clean. Great location to town center and back to the freeway.
The staff was very helpful here I love the location it's just a beautiful country feeling in a nice clean well-kept Campground. The town is close and is Charming. I would definitely stay here again
Don't let the rustic appearance of the park scare you away. No it is not a 5 star premium RV resort but if you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay with great services then look no further. You will probably need to call the number to get the owner on the phone as he is not always in the office. He will answer and come over to check you in. Bring cash or check to pay. He is very nice and helpful. They have full hookups, with great wifi, huge list of cable TV channels in a nice quiet park.... Read More

There is a nice Firestone Tire Center across the street to check the air in your tires etc. Quiet little town in Ks out in the middle of God's country with a nice quiet campground with great services

This campground has no physical host. You check your self in and self pay. Brlng cash or checks. Sites are not assigned. We arrived after 9:00 pm. There was one site left big enough for our rig. The campground is dark. Very very dark. It had rained all day and the ground was very muddy and slick with leaves. Rest room was thinly cleaned but functioned. Okay for a one night stay.
In town to visit the Eisenhower Presidential Museum and Library, which is within walking distance. We arrived on Saturday and office was not occupied, but I had already phoned and had good response via telephone. Even if you don't call first, there are clear instructions on how to check in at the station near the showers. We found a nice, level pull-thru with no problem. Wifi was good almost all the time, only the occasional slow response, but no knockoffs. We didn't use the restrooms or the... Read More

Wifi was good almost all the time, only the occasional slow response, but no knockoffs. We didn't use the restrooms or the pool (which looked clean and inviting). The owner came to our site on Monday morning to take our payment (as requested via telephone) and we were happily on our way. We would definitely return.

Very convenient location walking distance to Eisenhower Library. Sites a little rough and could use leveling. No convenient groceries so come prepared. Didn't want to hassle taking car out of trailer for short visit. Easy in and out.
