Our third stay at this park. It is several miles from the interstate exit to the park, but unfortunately the access road is parallel to the interstate and there can be loud truck traffic noise if you are at the end of the park close to the highway. The office is neat, well organized and check-in fairly efficient. The grounds are well kept. Interior roads are paved, trees trimmed, sites level. Many of the sites are nestled among very tall shade trees. The reason for the poor rating is three-fold.... Read More

Many of the sites are nestled among very tall shade trees. The reason for the poor rating is three-fold. They have a Kamp K-9. The ramps, buildings etc the dogs can play on are starting to show their age and lack of maintenance. There are two doggie bag holders. Both were empty. One had been empty for so long birds had built nests in both of the storage areas, had their off-spring, and moved on. I know most responsible rv'ers have bags with them, but this is ridiculous. The second, and significant safety issue was the JUNK pile in the open field that is part of the park. The field is well-maintained by the park and I believe it used to have a doggie bag pole. I think the pile of junk originally started as a pile of limbs off the many trees. However, it has grown into a junk pile complete with a couple of discarded sofas, plastic cans and trash. But, in this heap of junk someone has tossed several dozen boards that are around 8 to 10 feet long and have screws and nails protruding from them. One board, with over a dozen nails, is laying with all the nail points facing up. This would appear to be a place young children might gravitate to so they can play king of the mountain by sitting on the throne (sofas) and end up with a nail in their foot or worse. I've never seen anything like this trash pit at any rv park in all our travels - even in rather rough wilderness parks in Canada and Alaska. Last, and completely unacceptable was their WIFI - or lack thereof. This park advertises WIFI, as do most Good Sam parks. There was no signal where we were parked. I checked with the office and the lady, unapologetically, advised that they were in the process of upgrading and pointed to a box of something - ostensibly more antennas.
We did note there were far fewer rv's than we've ever seen here and suspect the virus may be adversely affecting their business. That may be part of the reason for the WIFI issue, but surely they can clean up the junk pile before someone gets hurt.

Very nice campground. Easy access from I65. I65 interchange is a congested traffic area. Campground is easy to find / well marked with signage. Staff very friendly. We stayed for 2 nights. Large premium pull through. Site was easy to find with wide access roads with no clearance issues. Site #D401 site was level with gravel drive / large concrete patio. We could have left rig hitched if we were just here overnight. Plenty of room for 5th wheel and tow vehicle. Good power source, water... Read More

Good power source, water pressure good and 2 sewer connections allow you to easily connect no matter your rig. Hard rain during our stay ..... site and access roads all had good drainage. We will stay again the next time we are in area.

The campground was clean and looked kept up only stayed one night. Told staff I would be a late check in. Was told where to find my papers. Arrived around 7:45pm. No papers. We found and empty spot, set up. Next morning, went to office, told them we had arrived, clerk said they marked me as a 'No Show'. Still haven't corrected that for my KOA points. I have emailed them about this. Otherwise a nice place lots of shade, beautiful landscape with a pond. Would stay again if you ver in the area.
On the edge of the highway. Very noisy !!
