There are positives regarding this RV park. Access off of I-24 is easy. We're a 37ft Class A with toad. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The park is clean, well maintained and has a pool. We needed a minor repair to our toilet, had the part and Cody was timely with the repair. They guide to your assigned site. Although the sites are all gravel we had no problem leveling. The name is misleading as a Resort it's not. 90% of the units here are either travel trailers or 5th wheels that are... Read More

There is no cable. There's Wi-Fi but we didn't use it as we carry our own router. There's a "Dog Park" in the back but it's a joke. Part grass/dirt and the ground is at a 45 degree angle. The park/campground is not as close to the LBL Recreational area as you would imagine.

Outback RV Resort was the very first place we used to test out a new RV. We are new to RV’ing and wanted a nice and quiet place to perform a shakedown of the RV after recently purchasing. They were easy to find on camping apps and were very competitive in pricing compared to other sites with equal/lesser amenities in the area. They were able to get us in on a days notice and we’re very accommodating to changes in the reservation ( my mistake when booking online). They have many pull thru sites which... Read More

They have many pull thru sites which is a must for a new RV’er. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. I was assisted with my first hookup. I wanted to do it myself to enhance my experience but a seasoned professional present and the advice given was most helpful and appreciated. The resort is clean and quiet with friendly people eager to wave and say hello. The place was very safe. They have a front gate, and even though I left an expensive over landing multi-tool kit out all night on the picnic table (I know, I know), it was still there in the morning. As far as first experiences go, this place was exceptional, with a high bar to compare future endeavors. We do hope to return again and check out more of their amenities. Since this was a shakedown we used our RV more than experiencing their showers but they looked nice and clean and others have noted their bathrooms were the best they’ve used. They also have a pool, children’s playground, and a pavilion for activities, amongst other amenities noted on their website. Unfortunately, we had to leave before game night. ?? Due this wonderful experience, we will definitely be back.

We stayed here 1 night on our way to visit family. This is a small park with only a few sites for short time visitors. The owners are so friendly and helpful. Helped us to our site and helped us get hooked up. The maximum length motor home that they can accommodate is 40’. The setting is beautiful.
Stopped by for one night and found the owners to be very helpful. I received help leveling and hooking up at the site and was given the great suggestion to visit the nearby Kentucky State Penitentiary. Tried to stay again on our return trip, but they were completely full. We will plan to stay again on our next trip. Great place!
Great value for the $40. we paid . Quiet , Shaded pull through sites so appreciated in July ! Lovely bathroom ! Wish we could have stayed more than our one night stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
The new owners are doing an awesome job! Very helpful overall. We we're in a easy pull through site. Newly renovated bathrooms that are super clean, great hot showers. Would stop again.
Bathrooms were very clean and had really hot water in the showers. Sites were close together but paved and fairly level. Utility hookups worked and were in good repair. There was a well up kept pool and playscape for the kiddos and plenty of space to walk dogs. Would definitely come back again!
