Very very disappointing! The only reason that I would ever stay here again is if I had a horse in a show right next door and even then I would look for another place first. The pool was broken, the "game room" was one racing game, a couple pin ball machines and the remaining two or three were those toy vending machines. The park isn't much to look at, way too many people and RVs, kids playing in the road during the day and at night. The showers were the worst part. The water pressure is so high... Read More

The water pressure is so high that you cant stand comfortably and shower without feeling like your skin is being ripped off and I'm not exaggerating. Worst park I've RVed at so far.

Spent 2 nights there. Was crowded and we didn't have reservations but were able to stay in electric primitive area. Parked on grass site and had 30amp hookup. Nice area and easy to get in and out. Left on a Sunday morning along with a lot of other campers and the dump stations (2) had waiting lines and hour deep. Next time we will leave eariler or later.
Nice facilities, was not there for any shows . Could be very crowded during an event. Previous reviews of no sewer hookup could be an issue for longer stays. Would return on future journeys.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Close to interstate. Easy trip to Frankfort and all the state capitol buildings, etc. UK is just down the road and Keeneland racetrack is only a few miles away. The park is lauded out in 2 circles but the sites are fairly big and easy to navigate. Site 135 was DirecTv friendly. Would stay here aging.
Large sites paved Great biking Pleasant staff and campers Poor to fair internet Quick access to horse park Very serene location
Very clean. The sites were a little close together, but access to Kentucky Horse Park made up for that. We weren't at the campsite that much, anyway.
This park was awesome! The only drawback was that the back in spaces were at a 45 degree angle making it very difficult to back a long trailer from a narrow road. Couple that with doing it after dark made it especially challenging. Other than that, I had a great experience. Campground staff was friendly and helpful. Although I did not use the amenities, it was nice that they were there and the store with ice and supplies was a plus.
With two exceptions we had a great time. Lack of onsite sewage limits water use, including showers. So bath house is critical. In the three days there trash piled up and was never cleared. Not sure the bathhouse was tended to since toilet paper littered the floor the whole time. Expected more from what seemed to be an otherwise clean park.
