We enjoyed our stay! We had a pull thru site. The office helped us to our site. There was a tree giving us a problem and the office guy offered to cut it. We had an issue with another guest using our water, but the office was very apologetic and took care of it. The sites were gravel and grass on the sides. There is plenty to do around. We LOVED driving around to see Louisiana.
first of all I never give over nights more then 3 stars just because I do not have time to really check out or enjoy the facilities or area I'm staying. 3 stars from me means the park is good for over night. We checked in late, but received a phone call earlier in the day with instructions, that's always a big positive. The park appeared to be well kept & maintained. Some full-timers staying here. That can kill the appeal rating in my opinion, when grass is mowed, but those RV's have tall grass... Read More

That can kill the appeal rating in my opinion, when grass is mowed, but those RV's have tall grass around them that mowers can't reach, along with big pvc pipes leading to the drains being supported by concrete blocks. I also do not think a 8' chain link fence around your pool is very appealing for an RV park, maybe it's local code thing. It was a peaceful park at night. Cable, WiFi, water pressure, level of site was all good! The GPS instructions getting here will seem ridiculous, but do not worry, it's easier then it seems.

What made this campground EXCELLENT was the excellent customer service by the Park Managers. They surpassed the standards of any other park. They helped us navigate the site and listened to our concerns working to make sure our rv was not damaged. The park is easy on and off the highway, extremely well maintained. You can tell the Managers take pride in their work and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
A reasonably nice Park! Good WIFI, Good Cable TV. Office personnel are very nice and helpful. Very friendly and helpful. Escort to your Site and willing to help if you need it. The one big draw back are the Sites. Most of them are Pull Thrus and can accomodate most large RV's. Ours is a 41ft 5th Wheel. However, various sites have trees planted in the wrong places, right at the end of the Space, making it very difficult to get a large rig pulled out, due to the narrow roads that lead into... However, various sites have trees planted in the wrong places, right at the end of the Space, making it very difficult to get a large rig pulled out, due to the narrow roads that lead into the sites. The tree next to our rig needs to be trimmed to avoid scratching the paint of the rig, when pulling out. The other Tree in front also needs to be Cut down. You cannot make a turn to get out with this tree in the way! Unfortunately, we had to back out of our space very carefully to avoid hitting anyone behind us. Kind of defeats the purpose of a PULL THRU!
So, to whomever owns this park: You need to consider cutting these trees down that are so close to the road and trim the trees that would cause a hazard exiting the site.

Nice park stayed a couple of days and truly enjoyed it. Did not use restrooms so we can not rate them. Great Park.
We stayed one night on the way east. when I made the reservation i questioned the noise issue being close to I-10 interstate and was told no noise......Ha Ha...guess I got scammed and they got my money....The noise was very constant and lasted all night. The Park was very in nice condition and well looked after but if you need a good nite sleep during a long journey this is very noisy from the interstate and off ramp...Lesson learned...no more "just off the Interstate RV Parks".....
Park worked great for us. Just off freeway with easy in/out. Staff was friendly, park clean and maintained. Long flat pull through accommodated our 40' 5th wheel and we didn't unhook. Best dog park so far, with long run for lab to exercise. Good laundry facilities. Secure WiFi. Typical freeway/railroad sounds for location off freeway. Stopped for an overnight, and would again!
Loved this park. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large pull through sites. Very pet friendly.
Great for one night! Easy off and on I-10, with no obstacles to run into while pulling our tow vehicle. However, very few trees for shade or beauty if that is what you're looking for. Pool was clean and operational but we didn't try it. Check in was great with prompt, friendly help, information for facility, AND homemade cookies that were really wonderful! WiFi was pretty good, until more people logged on in the evening, however cable was better than our normal experience. Restrooms were good but... Read More

We have stayed here two years ago as a over night stay. They were better than the last time. They keep their camp sites very clean and their office staff are very nice.
Good Sam rating of 9 is way off. Should be a 7. Check in was friendly and OK. Laundry had no ventilation and was as hot as a sauna with notices to keep the doors closed,!!!! Charged $2 for wash and $2 for dry. WiFi was marginal. Just OK for a one night stop over as we did.
An easy access park right off I-10, with a fuel stop and casino next door. The park is not big by any means, paved roads, gravel sites which could use a little TLC just to make them more pleasing to the eye. Park Managers were extremely friendly, and nice to deal with. Rest rooms were individual shower/stool rooms, laundry unfortunately needed some work as both some washers and dryers were not working. I would only stay here for one night! Train noise at night and traffic noise left me with out interrupted sleep. the place is clean and the people are nice. It is just too noisy to stay any longer than that. Its right next to Interstate 10
Stopped for 2 nights. Area very clean and well kept. Site was a pull through which was level and well maintained. BR and laundry were clean and well maintained. Office staff were friendly and very helpful. RV park is easily accessible from I 10. Would definitely stay again.
very nice park close to interstate yet no noise nice shade trees, bathrooms and showers were the same room and completly private you lock the door very nice. level pull thru sites
Stayed overnight on the way from Texas to Florida. Nice and quiet, friendly staff. Didn't shower or use the restrooms, so I can't rate them. Easy to get in and out of, our rig with toad is 50 ft., we had no trouble at all. Definitely would stop there again.
Very nice staff. They provide excellent campground information, maps and info for shopping, RV repairs, and restaurants. Cookies were available at check in. There is distant highway noise, but it is easily suppressible with our small portable fan in the BR. Diesel and gas fuel are incredibly convenient, safe and easily accessible, as you exit the campground. We will stay again on our return leg.
Good over night stay. Easy to gas station. Close to freeway.
Level and maintained gravel sites. No trees. Good for overnight travelers - Not a destination park. Small salt water pool. Very low occupancy. There were about a dozen sites occupied by renters. There is a cat problem on premises. Witnessed over 7 cats around our site. Mostly wild - needs to be addressed. Did not utilize laundry or restrooms. One dumpster on corner.
Close to highway for overnight stay. Very clean complete individually accessible bathroom/shower rooms via punch-code lock. Salt water pool very small, but appeared clean; not used by us. Yes, behind a hotel and side gas station; but not a problem. Site /grounds clean, but no trees
We stayed at Frog City RV Park for a week to tour the local area. The park is nice, with nice level gravel sites with paved streets. The site was full hookup with wifi and cable tv. There was no problem using a satellite dish. The Camp Hosts we talked to were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The park is close to I-10 and a truck stop but we had no problems with truck noise. We would stay here again when we are in the area.
If you like being next to truck stop, picking up cat dung, cat tracks on your pickup, having vistoriies they will have to park at the truck stop although there was 30 empty spaces, they were visiting for one hour. Managers have no common sense, you will like this rv park. Stayed here the last five years, on more
Stopped here and stayed four days to do some touring in the area. The park is right off the highway and easy to get to. It has mostly pull thru sites which are wide and level. The bathroom and laundry building is very clean and nice. They have a wonderful salt water pool that we swam in every night. The personnel were very nice and helpful. Would definitely stop again.
We only stayed one night on our way through. We called last minute as I had not made reservations and the manager was very kind, and told us to head right over and she would get us a place. We were a little after closing time, and she happily waited for us. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful she was. The spaces were level and not too crowded. The park was quiet.
