The Takeaway: Cajun Heritage R/V Park offers a real Cajun backcountry experience with live Cajun bands, a boat launch with access to Lake Bigeaux and Bayou La Rose. A large well maintained pool and clean bath/shower rooms. Conveniently located a short distance from the Louisiana Welcome Center exit off I10. Disappointing internet connection-nonexistent however the live band, clean pool and boat launch more than compensate for not being connected. Go to www.rickpicks.com for other reviews, critiques... Loved this campground! From the moment our campers arrived til pulling out to head home. Upon check in they have spotters who escort you to your site and assist with getting backed in. Daily garbage pickup at your site. Nice trees. Clean facility. Short trip to shopping, restaurants, etc. Did not have to use the campgrounds restroom facilities. Mosquitos were out but they came around and sprayed and took care of the issue, mosquitos are just part of life down here. Can't wait to go back. Read More

Same day reservation by phone. Easy to find off I-10 with Google maps. Quick registration (take cash or check only). Helpful guide to site - warning, only two pull-throughs. Level gravel site. Easy hook-ups. Wi-Fi unacceptably slow was only complaint. Beautiful well kept grounds along side bayou. Very large area for kids; pet friendly. Minimal road noise - local road, not interstate. Very helpful staff.

This is a gorgeous park right by the bayou. Lots of great bayou sounds at night. The grounds folks were great a helpful. The young lady in the office was not. We would stay here again though.
