We stayed here in our 41' 5th Wheel for one night. Checked in over the phone the and stayed in space B36 also. The site was wet from the rain, a little muddy but very spacious and we had no problems setting up. There were a couple of long term residence but for the most part very clean area. We would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here twice, once on the way to Dallas for a wedding and then again on the way out of Dallas. It is right off of I-20, easy access into the park. The roads in the park are a little rough, some potholes and tight turns. Check in both times was fast and friendly. We stayed in B-36 both stays, it is the perfect site. A level, gravel pull through with full hookups and no issues with any of them. The site is on top of a hill with a large wooden deck (most sites have one) with a picnic table... Read More

A level, gravel pull through with full hookups and no issues with any of them. The site is on top of a hill with a large wooden deck (most sites have one) with a picnic table and a nice view of the stocked pond. It was plenty long enough for our 37-foot Class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. There are a number of permanent residents, some are a little rough. There is some trash laying around, but on our second visit it seemed some of it had been picked up. There are two permanent residents that never clean up after their dogs and of course it was always right in front of our RV. With all of that we did enjoy our stay. There is road noise, you will have that with easy access to the highway and a loud train. We stayed February 20-27, 2018 and again March 8-11, 2018. Did not use the laundry or bathrooms. WiFi was spotty and our Verizon signal was just okay. There is some road noise and a train. There is nothing in Simsboro so shopping/eating is 20 minutes or more away. We paid $125 weekly rate first stop and $25.00 a night the second stop with our Good Sam Discount
