Great water views. The only negative is we had a site up front where all the 50 amp sites are. Very noisy from the highway.

I expected water access from web site info but there was none. The bathrooms were barely maintained. Couple days disgusting odor from trash, no one cleaned, call made with no answer and no response to message left. After husband went to camp ground personal angry it was cleaned but sinks were not cleaned for days. Frequently out of paper towels.

Pros:Location of the campground is wonderful with easy access to Rockport and Camden. Both towns have lovely downtown areas to stroll through and Camden State Park is nearby for hiking or dog walking. Owls Head Transportation Museum is fascinating and nearby (entrance fee $12.00) The RV spaces were a bit close for my liking but adequate and had picnic tables with table cloths and a campfire ring. We did not use the campfire ring as we were surrounded by folks that did ...plenty of smoke already.... Read More

We did not use the campfire ring as we were surrounded by folks that did ...plenty of smoke already. We do not have health concerns that were affected. We did partake of the optional Lobster Dinner and it was well done and served by friendly staff. the view of the ocean was wonderful and the owner even tried to command us whale siting but to no avail... Cons: The restrooms left a bit to be desired. They had cobwebs in the corners(I am not afraid of spiders)and there appeared to be a bit of mold(typical bathroom in Maine) No shelf for shampoo. no mirror to comb your hair or curtain to keep your cloths dry. They were roomy though and plenty of hot water. Suggestions to Owner: Tablecloths would have been nice for the Lobster Dinner. Add small shelf and mirror by changing area and small shelf by shower head for shampoo, soap etc.. Have the cleaning staff look up towards ceiling to check for cobwebs! they were big...
