Stayed 2 weeks in a full service site, 5th wheel trailer. The site was very long but a bit narrow, packed white stone and close to level. There is about 50 spaces in a variety of sizes, no fire pits. The campground is surrounded with trees on the perimeter and young trees growing within some sites. Washroom/showers well kept and freshened regularly. Laundry is along the hall leading to washrooms, 2 sets of washers and dryers in very good working condition and well priced. Playground and green space... Read More

Pet friendly, not much area to walk within the park but plenty of room just outside leading to some farm fields and a river diversion easily visible. An abundance of garbage and recycling bins throughout. About 15 kms. to the south end of Winnipeg along Hwy. #59, good access. **We noticed the aroma of either a feed lot or possibly hog farm quite often**. Don't know where this came from but you can't miss it !! The owners are terrific folks always willing to assist and provide information. Well worth the stay.

We're very glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Our limestone sites are well appreciated because of the type of soil in our area of Manitoba (a very sticky type of clay), but if you prefer a wider site, I would highly recommend one of our treeless 50 Amp Sites which are very easy to pull into. Although we do not have fire pits at each site, we do have community fire pits for everyone's enjoyment in various locations in the RV park. We definitely work hard at keeping our laundry and restroom facilities... Read More

We definitely work hard at keeping our laundry and restroom facilities in tip top shape and we're happy you were able to enjoy them. Our park gives a real taste of quiet prairie living with our big bright blue skies, enormous stretches of flat grassland and fields, and yes the occasional aroma of dairy, pork and chicken farms which are a major part of the Manitoba economy. As you mention, there are some lovely prairie paths along the Seine River diversion which runs just to the South of our RV park. We certainly enjoy helping our guests and are so happy to have met you. We hope to see you again soon!

This is a conveniently located RV Park - well planned, friendly owners and clean modern facilities. We always enjoy our stay at this park. Always a pleasant welcome home away from home. Highly recommended!1
Thanks for your review Peter. It's always a pleasure welcoming you to our park and hope to see you again soon!
"Great Campground" This is a great campground with nice and clean facilities. Friendly staff. Well located for visiting Winnipeg and area. Very accommodating and helpful folks. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for your review! We love helping out our clients and are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us!
The day we were there it was quite windy and gusting through the park. The electrical and sewer are on one side of the site and the water is on the other. I had to run the hose under the trailer making it a tripping hazzard. The staff is great and the sites are gravelled and fairly level. There is no area to walk dogs except to be taken off site to walk in tall grass/weeds. Our dog ended up with 2 ticks. Would I stay again? Yes.
Thank you for your comments. Manitoba certainly can be quite windy given the province's flat prairie landscape. Some of our sites do have full hook-up all on the driver's side, but for the sites that do not, you are welcome to make yourselves at home and put down a mat. The green space to the South of our RV Park where the Seine River Diversion flows is maintained by the Province of Manitoba and does get cut over the summer. It is still a very nice space for a walk and is very much enjoyed by many... Read More

Very nice Rv park lots of gravel and sites are level. The owners are great and goes out of her way to make her customers happy. It's Worth a stay while visiting Winnipeg or surrounding area.
Thank you for taking the time to review our RV Park. We look forward to meeting again on your next trip to Winnipeg!
This is a very nice park just South of Winnipeg. The roads and sites are packed rock and the sites where we stayed we're level. High speed wifi is available for $3 extra dollars per device. The owners here were very friendly and helpful. Winnipeg is about 9 miles away and it is an easy drive there and back. We will definitely stay here when back through the area.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our RV Park! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you had a great time visiting Winnipeg. We look forward to your next visit!
The manager was very friendly and helpful with directions. The park is about 30 minutes from downtown Winnipeg, which is a great city to explore. Our site was in the "50 amp" area of the park, and there is no shade, trees or grass, but does have a nice picnic table. The site was level. The laundry facilities had only two washers and dryers, but one washer was not working. We had to go to a laundromat in Winnipeg. The wifi costs extra, and was spotty, but may have been due to recent storms.... Read More

Looks like you caught us on an off day! And, I'm truly sorry for your inconvenience! Normally, our WiFi is exceptional (high-speed from anywhere in our park), as is attested to by the many great reviews we have on Google and Trip Advisor. The multiple storms that hit our area the week of your arrival broke some of our Internet equipment. This has mostly been repaired and is working well now. We do, as you mentioned, have a great reimbursement policy for our clients who are having WiFi trouble. As... Read More

As for our laundry facilities, on any given day the number of washers and dryers more than meets the needs of our clients based on the number of sites we have. There are, of course, some peak times when the washers and dryers are working overtime. You were unfortunate enough to arrive when one of our washers broke on the Sunday of a long weekend. Maytag did get it repaired in a timely fashion given the holiday (on Wednesday morning).
Regarding our 50 Amp sites, they are specifically designed to cater to the needs of our clients with large RVs and big rigs. Fewer trees ensure great satellite, WiFi and antenna reception and make the sites easy to navigate (unhooking your tow is not necessary). We keep well maintained limestone surface throughout all our sites which, as you mentioned, ensures a nice level surface. If you fancy some trees, on your next visit might I suggest trying one of our shadier 30 Amp sites?
Thanks a bunch for your review! We hope to see you again soon.

Almost the best site we have stayed. The washrooms are immaculate, like the one at home. Friendly and very helpful owners. Make it a stop on your way across west to east, or even east to west
Thank you for your comments regarding our park! We certainly strive to keep clean facilities for our guests. We hope you'll stay with us again some time.
