This campground is HUGE with lovely shade in most areas for at least part of the day. It surrounds four lakes that are each a little different, but each has its own beach for swimming, and all have catch and release fishing. The park welcomes pets and is family oriented. Divided into alphabetic sections, the smaller sections have circular arrangements of sites with a variety of ways to orient your camper based on your preferred view and available space to maneuver. Divided into alphabetic sections, the smaller sections have circular arrangements of sites with a variety of ways to orient your camper based on your preferred view and available space to maneuver. The first site we had, F-5 would have been lovely but we could only put the camper in one way due to how the neighbors vehicles were parked. The rain the next 2 days caused our camper to sink on one side and become severely off level. We contacted the office and they immediately sent someone out to verify the problem and offered us another site that was more level and we moved to U-36 where we remained for the duration of our stay. The sites are fairly good sized, a few pull throughs are available, and full hook ups are available at some sites, but not at all of them. They have two dual dump stations near the front of the park, and honey wagon service on weekdays for a fee. There is a section called The Village that is a collection of park models permanently placed in two rows (one lake front and one back row just off the lake) that some are rentals, some are privately owned, and some are for sale. The staff is amazingly helpful with any problems that you may have, from groceries to service issues. They patrol the park frequently throughout the day and evening in marked vehicles, handling problems as they arise to maintain the peaceful and relaxing setting the park provides. The bathrooms and showers were amazingly clean and thoughtfully placed. The laundry was nice and can be paid for with either card or change (available at the office). The park is secured by a gate house with an on duty guard for most of the day, customers have a card to gain entry to the park.
While you're there, be sure to go visit the Irish Hills area with it's Mystery Hill attraction, and whatever else you do be sure to visit the Creamery Ice Cream Shop in Hell, Michigan. Talk to Tristan and learn how the town got its name and lots of other fun facts!

This campground is huge. Mostly seasonal sites. We were here for 3 nights. It is convenient to local attractions and shopping. It is at the end of an unpaved road. No cable tv available and tough to get much via antenna. Would be nice to have a fenced dog run. They have room for this but do not have one.
A little close to our neighbors but was a nice place.
Was and is a great park. Your made to feel welcome weather you stay a week or a month.
I stayed at Haas Lake Park for 2 weeks while visiting my children and grandchildren. I checked in after dark so I didn't get a good look at the place until the next day. I was super impressed with the natural beauty of this facility. It has 5 lakes, laundry, store and bait shop. The roads are dirt and gravel, but are not bad. It has an extremely quiet atmosphere with many spots being used by season long residents. The park's access is limited to the campers only. Visitors must pay a $2 fee... Read More

It has an extremely quiet atmosphere with many spots being used by season long residents. The park's access is limited to the campers only. Visitors must pay a $2 fee to come into the park. A "Chub Card" is given to the campers after paying a $10 cash deposit. This card allows you to come and go any time, otherwise you must return to the park prior to closing at 8 pm.
The staff is very attentive and eager to assist in any way they can. The park is constantly patrolled by Park Staff and rules and quiet times are enforced. The park is clean and very well kept. The only negative to my stay was the high rate. Considerably higher than I'm used to and pretty much at the top of my limit. But other than that, I would be happy to stay here again.
