This is our 2nd time staying at the Ham Lake Campground, as it is the closest RV campground near our son's house. It's not a bad place to stay. They pack them in in most of the camp areas, and there seems to be mostly season long campers there. They have a small farm/zoo with Emu, goats and a mule, as well as access to Ham Lake. We never saw a mosquito, which is surprising as there is a pretty stagnant pond area right across from the office. They must treat the pond, I'm sure. Everyone we met... Read More

Our only complaint is the water. It had a strong brown color to it. I don't know if it was high iron content or what, but it was pretty gross. We have a filter on our drinking water, but if we ever stay there again, I'll be sure to pick up a filter for all of the incoming water.
