Just South of Memphis Tennessee
Visit the historic city of Memphis, TN and enjoy southern hospitality and great BBQ! Visit Graceland, the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, The Blues Hall of Fame, not to mention the live music on Beal Street.
We had reservations at lake and all electric went out, she was nice enough to arrange to have us a spot when all other places were full. Meet a lot of nice people, enjoyed a clean nice pool. The only bad thing was the short road going in needs repair. We were overall very pleased. Thank you!!!!
This campground can not accommodate a large motohome or 5th wheel. The roads are terrible and the sites are worst. No evidence of maintenance. I called ahead and asked if they could accommodate a 45" motorhome with tow vehicle and was told yes. Wrong! The trees around the outside perimeter made it impossible to negotiate without rubbing against the unit. The owner/employee just flat out lied about their ability to accommodate a large RV. Stay away unless you have a pop up or very small trailer.
Pleasantly surprised! Now with that said...let me explain. This is an older park that could certainly use some updates, but by and large not bad. I understand the need to have some monthly renters to help you survive and make your monthly nut. However, the park should still have standards...keep your site clean and Camper/RV respectful looking. The pool was amazing...old and could use a resurfacing but we LOVED it. The restrooms were clean and appeared to have been updated recently. The sites are... Read More

The restrooms were clean and appeared to have been updated recently. The sites are unusually large by today's RV parks standards and all nice level pull thrus! The road leading in was a bit bumpy...slow down and be aware of the pot holes and you'll do fine. The WiFi was good for checking email and a little surfing. No cable and very little signal from Memphis TV stations. We checked in around two when the office is closed, so we picked a site and paid when they re-opened around 4pm. Nice and smooth check in process with some basic supplies. The park also has a nice level road to walk around for exercise, not to mention plenty of areas to walk the dog. You can hear the interstate, but for the price of convenience just off the interstate we didn't mind.drown out the noise with your AC or fans. We'll be back!

This place is the absolute worse (wish I could give zero stars)..... The roads are supposed to be dirt to give you a nice country feel but they brought in chunks of old road asphalt to try and fill in the pot holes which made the roads so much worse. They have nice pictures posted online BUT DO NOT BE FOOLED this place is very RAN DOWN and they were making no effort to improve anything. Also the maintenance man tries to be way to friendly with women; this made going to the pool very uncomfortable... Read More
