This place is full of long-term residents. They only have 7-8 overnight spots. The residents will watch you like a hawk and report you to the office for any infractions of the rules. Only the 1st two daily spots are level. The other spots lean to the right. I would only use this place as a last resort. We don’t plan on going back to Baywood.
Very pleased with our stay in this campground, we did not get to the campground on the date we where to arrive we where two days late because of weather. They did not charge us for the extra two days she was very nice about it. The bathrooms where very clean and the park was well maintained we will be staying there again. We will be recommend this campground to our friends and others.
I loved this place. The restrooms were clean. The woman was cleaning before I used it and when I went to get laundry caught up she was in there cleaning too. We were evacuating from the hurricane Irma and the manager was so kind. She took our reservation over the phone and reassured us that she would hold the spot for us. We had no problem getting into the site. Hook up was easy. She stopped in to see we were doing OK before her shift was over. When the other campers saw our Florida tags some stopped... Read More

This was Gulfport Mississippi where Katrina actually hit. This place will definitely be on our list of places to return. It was a mile to the Gulf of Mexico. Very pretty. The trip was stressful but this was a nice find and we felt like we were among people that cared.

Had an extended stay - once we got set up, didn't want to relocate. Park is very centrally located and the least expensive in the area. Because of that the park has a significant number of suspect full-timers. Drive the park - lots of of trailers not so much large expensive Class As. Manager tries very hard and is as helpful as she can be as one person. There is just not enough money coming into the park to make it really nice. You get what you pay for.
Pool is nice, bathrooms are clean, spots are asphalt and fairly level. Campground is clean overall.. However, management is terrible! I'm glad our 1 month trip is being shortened to 2 weeks! We have only been here a week, tried to go to the office 5 times in 7 days to have them not open during their posted business hours. They claim to be open daily from 7am till 1 pm, then from 2 pm until 6 pm. The day we got here we arrived around 4:45. They lady didn't want to wait for us to get set up and come... Read More

They lady didn't want to wait for us to get set up and come back to pay for the internet usage. She wanted to go home early. I tried to go the next day to get internet. I went close to lunch time, 12:45, so I can understand them leaving 15 minutes early for lunch, but when I returned the same day at 4:30 it was closed again! Then today I went to go do laundry. Their 24 hour facility smells terrible, has extremely outdated machines, and either only one dryer works or only one actually dries at a time because my other loads were still completely soaked. They don't have a change machine. I started my laundry at 10:58 am, went to the office for quarters to find they had closed for lunch! Not to return until 2pm. It wasn't even 11 yet and they were already on lunch! I tried the office again at 3 pm to find it closed for the day and not to reopen until tomorrow at 7 am. Luckily there was a grocery store around the corner where I could get change. The manager lives on site and says you may go to her after hours in case of emergencies. Well this was during hours, she was home (camper unlocked, truck there, golf cart there, and I could hear movement) and no one answered the door. Extremely poor service from the staff. I would only stay here if it was a short trip, and God forbid I ever have an actual emergency because no one is around to help.
