We discovered Big Creek in 2014 and have been coming every year since. You can be as active or relaxed as you want. There are plenty of activities for kids and families. If you don't feel like socializing, you can enjoy your spacious site, hang out in the creek or walk the trail. If you feel like getting away from the campground, there are many areas to hike, lots of festivals in nearby towns and Clearwater Lake is nearby for the boaters. We discovered Big Creek in 2014 and have been coming every year since. You can be as active or relaxed as you want. There are plenty of activities for kids and families. If you don't feel like socializing, you can enjoy your spacious site, hang out in the creek or walk the trail. If you feel like getting away from the campground, there are many areas to hike, lots of festivals in nearby towns and Clearwater Lake is nearby for the boaters. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful with anything you need. Highly recommend this park.

This park is a hidden gem. The restrooms were remarkably clean and in great shape! So was the laundry room. There is much to do including a small pool area, a playground, horseshoe pit and volley ball court. All in great condition. All of the RV sites were good sized and there is plenty of space between them. They are all gravel and level. All of the hook ups were convenient. We really enjoyed our stay -- spacious enough site. Excellent private restrooms (toilet/sink/shower)! Loved the creek....enjoyed walking along it.

I don't see how Good Sam gives this place a 10. The staff is very friendly, but the sites are not very attractive. They have built up gravel to level the sites but that makes a big step down to the surrounding ground. Wifi is almost worthless. Verizon data is not available. Cable TV is o.k. Families with kids probably love the nice creek and there is a small pool. You can walk about a mile around the grounds. There are a number of permanent RV's with all the "stuff" that goes with those.... Read More

We do have some sites that, after 7 years, are showing some crowning in the center. I hope you noticed that we are installing wood along the sides of sites and filling those in (it is taking some time to get to all sites). However, with a site width of 35', usually a big step off the edge is not an issue. And you are correct--we do not have Verizon available in our area. With our beautiful remote location in Mark Twain National Forest, cell reception is an issue. We do get AT&T & US Cellular. Our wi-fi is very good (we use a Meraki system). However, we do tell all our guests up front (on both our website and also on the splash screen when they log on) that our Internet has limited bandwidth for the same reason. We have all the Internet that is available to our area--and we will certainly purchase more as it becomes available in order to better meet the needs of our guests. We don't have any "permanent" RVs. However, we do have one of our rental units that has a skirt around it--it is sometimes mistaken for a permanent unit. We do have five long-term guests that leave their RVs seasonally. They are allowed to have a storage shed on their sites--each is approved by management, and each must be newly purchased (nothing is allowed to be brought in already used). What a great RV park! The owners are very nice and the campground is clean and well kept. Our four kids had a blast in the pool (upper 90's that weekend) and the creek was fun too! My wife and I have plans to return for another weekend this camping season.

Owners of this campground couldn't have been more friendly and helpful especially with us newbies. Went out of their way to get me connected to their internet so I could see a game. Nice newish clean bath facilities. We will be back

The owners of this park have spared no expense to build a first class RV Park! Also, they and their staff continue to do everything possible to ensure a great experience at their facility. We are full-timers for the last 20 years and have been to many other RV parks. This is simply the best RV park anywhere!
