Easy in/out with "big rig". Host is very accommodating, easy reservations. Satellite friendly. Site was fairly level. Water pressure was about 43, acceptable. Location on highway 54.
Owners very nice couple but, a little overly concerned with Chinese beer virus. Only allow ONE person in office at a time. mini golf course outside, but closed, picnic area outside but, closed. 50/30/20 amp service. tv hookups we did not use. Plenty of length for long rv but, a bit narrow. We stayed two days as a base for sightseeing. Worked out very well. Oh yes, to get the Goodsam discount you have to pay in cash. don't remember seeing that in description. We were at the end of our trip... Read More

Long, level pull-thru sites and an expansive minigolf course (check amenity availability during COVID) are the hallmarks of this park, with easy access to the highway. Water pressure was great. There is a beautiful, lush butterfly garden in front of the office and well-kept rose gardens and flowerbeds around the grounds. We stops for a night midweek and it was pleasantly quiet and the gentleman in the office was very helpful. Tons of lightening bugs to light up the night and compliment the clear... Read More

Tons of lightening bugs to light up the night and compliment the clear skies, and few other insects (never even saw a mosquito). We had a good time playing ladder ball and watching the birds frolic. Would stay again without hesitation.

We stayed one night, arriving late Saturday and leaving at first light on Sunday. We called a few hours ahead and the person answering the phone was very helpful with clear directions and instructions for our arrival. We did not meet the owners or use any of their facilities. I gave the ratings I did because the place looks clean and well-maintained. We were driving a big rig (60+ Ft with our tow vehicle) and were given a site reserved for big rigs. I gave the ratings I did because the place looks clean and well-maintained. We were driving a big rig (60+ Ft with our tow vehicle) and were given a site reserved for big rigs. There were only a few tenants which was fortunate because it would have been difficult to pull out without unhooking our tow vehicle. I would recommend this place unless one has issues with possibly unhooking a tow vehicle.

Small older campground, mainly full hookup, pull-thru sites. Some long-term campers In back of park. Restrooms clean and well-maintained as is laundry. Roads gravel. Appears to be owned and maintained by older couple. Little contact with owner after checking-in. Soft-serve ice cream available in office (not open most of the time). Sits between two roads with heavy traffic about 24/7. Little shade. About 35 miles from Hannibal, MO with all Tom Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn attractions. Prices... Read More

This little campground was my first ever stay with my new travel trailer. The owners have been wonderful and so friendly, answering questions and visiting. I'm in a pull through with full hookups and have had no problems. The 'mountains' make cell reception iffy for some carriers but I have Verizon and I've had no problems. The bathrooms are nice and clean, but you must ask for a key so not just anyone can wonder in off the hwy. Hwy 54 runs right past so there is a bit of noise and if I'm... Read More

The 'mountains' make cell reception iffy for some carriers but I have Verizon and I've had no problems. The bathrooms are nice and clean, but you must ask for a key so not just anyone can wonder in off the hwy. Hwy 54 runs right past so there is a bit of noise and if I'm outside I can hear a train go by but I've not had any problems sleeping. They have a put-put course, horse shoe area, a fire pit and a covered area with pic-nic tabes with a couple of bbq pits.
There is a designated area for dog walking and there are some long term spots as well. Check in was easy and there was a GoodSam discount for using cash. They do have some supplies on hand if you're in the market and the ice cream is yummy. I do wish they had a pool so I took a point off for that, but the price was right and the folks are friendly. I will definitely stay here again when I come back this direction.

We did not have a reservation - just decided to stop for the night. Office was locked - had a sign that said to chose an empty site. Small envelope was provided but I wanted to pay by credit card. This was a Good Sam campground. Restrooms were locked. No one was around. They did leave a phone number posted on door to call if you had any problems or questions - but there was no cell service. So we parked in a site (place was empty except for 3 other campers). At just after 9 pm a lady came... Read More

This was a Good Sam campground. Restrooms were locked. No one was around. They did leave a phone number posted on door to call if you had any problems or questions - but there was no cell service. So we parked in a site (place was empty except for 3 other campers). At just after 9 pm a lady came by to collect. She was surprised we were able to hookup to the cable for TV. Also, said she knew there was no cell service - could of called from the phone in the office but since that was locked - she laughed!!! Next - you cannot get the Good Sam discount unless you pay by cash or check. Also, I asked about the restrooms - she said we had to get a key if we wanted to use them. Good thing we have a bathroom in our camper since she didn't open the office at all.
It was eye appealing but what a way to run a business. I felt she should have given us the discount because we did not have access to the bathrooms and she stated most people could not get the cable to work. We will never stay here again.

Over rated, no cell service, no air tv, trains behind park & major road in front, noisey. If you ask for Good Sam discount, you have to pay cash or with check. They do have long pull through lots.
