Really nice place, clean, great dog walk/park area. Greeted by friendly staff, very happy person. The only downsize was the road noise, too close to major highway. My solution, sleep with earplugs, slept like a baby. Will stay again.
We stayed here just one night as it was the midpoint between our origin and our destination. We were very pleasantly surprised by how pretty it is, with a nice pond and an extensive nature area for walking the dogs. The showers were good, air conditioned and private, with a key code to get in so you feel safe. The site was clean and level and we had no problems with the hookups. We were at the far end in a pull through site and wifi did not reach us.
although we were only able to stay one night we will definitely add this lil hidden gem to our next cross country adventure! would love to return later as this looks like a very camper friendly area and especially the campground. also enjoyed the local boat town brewery tasting room and gathering place with great local flavor.
Nice place to stay overnight, right off and next to highway. Easy.
We called ahead and asked if we could come a day early, they were very accommodating and made room for us. The site was a bit unlevel and had to use extra blocks under our leveling jacks but it was a good site. We really enjoyed the walking path around their fishing pond. We only stayed one night but it was an enjoyable stay. Their sites all seemed a bit unlevel so expect a little extra work on sitting up.
A fabulous campground! Lots of trees, a beautiful pond / lake, walking path (with or without dogs), fire rings, HANDS DOWN, THE CLEANEST (and warm, on a cold, brisk fall morning) BATHROOMS I'VE EVER SEEN AT A CAMPGROUND. The only draw-back is that it's right by I-44, so noisy from the traffic all night long. (The only reason I couldn't give it 5 Stars overall). But otherwise, a lovely camp gound.
very nice park. Excellently maintained. Lots of trees and a great little trail to walk on. People are super friendly and helpful and obviously take pride in this place. Notably, They have had lots of rain and yet the roads are not puddled at all and neither are the sites. The only thing keeping Happy Trails from 5 stars is the freeway noise. It doesn't bother me, but some may object. Trees do block the highway, so the view isn't spoiled at all. I will definitely stay again.
This was a nice campground with shaded campsites and very friendly people. They even provided golf cart rides to the nearby brewery. They offered free catch and release fishing in their nice lake. Unfortunately, we didn't have fishing equipment, but a lot of people were taking advantage of it. We would stay there again if the occasion arose.
Our family arrived at the campground after hours. It was dark so we weren't able to see much of the campground at that point. We were able to do an after hour check-in because they had site and payment information in a box outside of the office. It was a quiet night. The campground is right off of the freeway so there is some noise from that, but not real noticeable. We did not deal with any staff. The campsites were gravel with picnic tables and fire pits. The bathrooms were older, but clean. Good... Read More

Nice little park, we stayed over night here on our way home. Park is right off the Highway but the traffic noise wasn't to bad. Quiet little park, early in the season so most of the sites were unoccupied. The Staff was very friendly, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. If I pass this was again I would stay here again.
We stayed at the park for 2 nights. Since our stay was in the fall it was not that busy, but it was clean and the staff was nice. There was a lake and a few other amenities which we did not utilize as we had such a short stay. We were in Lot 53 at the back of the park. We are a very long rig with tow (over 80'). We fit so it has my vote as a BIG RIG park. The park had a lot of trees so we were unable to get any satellite reception, but we were able to pick up a few locals. They offered WiFi... Read More

They offered WiFi however we did not have any signal at the back of the property.
The park has easy access from I-44; however do double check your GPS as our's told us to go left at the exit off I-44 East and it should have been right. We had no problems getting to our site.
There was no sewer at our site. There is a dump station near the park's entrance. This would be problematic for an extended stay, but okay for a short stay. They do have some full hookups at the front of the park.
We would stay at the park again if traveling through the area
