Selected due to close proximity to Little Big Horn NP and high bathhouse rating. We were not disappointed. Superb staff, easy pull through sites, and fabulous views. Loved the ice cream treat! One caution, access road is unpaved, rough, and dusty. No issues, just take it slow. Wish we’d had time to take advantage of the opportunity to wash our Tellaro. Thank you for your hospitality!
The staff, grounds, sites and facilities are top notch. Would highly recommend due to the staff's helpfulness and the condition of the grounds. So close to Little Big Horn Battlefield. Love the tokens for free ice cream! Talked to 6 staff members and each one was great! What a fantastic team.
We travel all over the USA. Stayed at a few great RV places, a lot of nice ones, some less fancy ones and a couple of ugly places. This one is definitely in our TOP 5 RV campgrounds. Thank you.
A little off the beaten path but worth it. Very close to the national park. Bathrooms were nice and clean and the views was spectacular. Could see for miles.
We stayed at 7th Ranch on August 7, 2020. As we turned off of the highway access road, we encountered some unseen bumps in the road that caused our coach to torque. Dishes fell out of the cabinet and broke. When we got to our site, we realized that the slide out had torqued and could not go in or out. We spent a lot of time on the phone figuring out how to get the slide-out in until we could get it fixed. It could close except for 3 inches on the front of the slide. Ultimately, we couldn't... Ultimately, we couldn't get it fixed until the end of our trip. We called the office to complain and they seemed very disinterested. That night the owner did call, and blamed it all on the county paving. Another camper we spoke with said their refrigerator opened at the spot and everything fell out. No damage there, but why weren't they advising people of the problem and perhaps putting cones up. Basically, a very disinterested management. Nice spot, get the road fixed!

Wonderful campground. Host and hostess were super friendly and helpful. The campground was very clean and maintained. We stayed here twice on this western trip
Incredible owners, and spectacular scenery from the overlook above the campground... especially at sunset. This is a great place to recharge for several days.
Excellent park! The owners care about how the park looks and operates. It is clean and nice. Stay here!
You'll be pleased that you stopped here. You won't see much from the highway but when you arrive it's a well kept, clean and well laid out park. Good space between slots. People who stay once will come again .Good people.
The facility was well maintained. Owners friendly and very helpful. Good knowledge of area. Only down side was being on gravel road that could use maintenance. Would stay here again
A well run RV park. It is a short drive off the Interstate with the last quarter mile being gravel. The staff is friendly and helpful. We called ahead earlier in the day to make a reservation and check in was very efficient. The bathroom and showers were very clean and the water was great. Stayed one night on our way to Big Horn Canyon near Lovell, WY. Nice park. The road getting there is a little bumpy, but it's not horrible. Very nice people and a free ice cream at check in!
Thanks for taking the time to review us. Our new office, gift shop, & game room is getting finished for next summer! Be sure to come again if you're in MT to check it out!
We initially planned a two night stay, but after the first night extended for a third. This is a lovely park in the country with rolling hills and gorgeous sunsets. The staff is friendly and helpful. The entire facility is immaculate. We repeatedly observed staff cleaning, trimming tree branches and attending to every detail. We also appreciated the before 9 pm check in rule. Thank you! We appreciate your thoughtful review. We work hard to provide a clean, scenic, & well-run RV Park for travelers. Our policies have recently changed- we no longer offer tenting or cabins so RV's are exclusive! We think it's being well received. Our new office will be ready for next summer too! Travel well!
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the RV Park to anyone.
Thanks for taking the time to review us. We truly appreciate great travelers and enjoy providing a clean, quiet scenic place along the way. We're the closest full-service RV Park to Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. It's our mission to provide a good RV Park for tourists to enjoy the historic & cultural amenities of our area.
We stayed 2 nights while visiting Little Bighorn Battlefield Monument, it was nice to find a RV park only a few minutes drive to the Monument. The sites are all gravel and mostly if not all pull-throughs, our site was high up on the hillside with a great view of the surrounding area. The park is a mile or 2 from Interstate 90 and the train tracks that parallel the interstate and weekdays there was a train passing by about every hour endlessly blowing it's horn. No television but free WIFI, we didn't care for the water, staff explained that is was "very soft" but I didn't like the taste and it had a soapy feel.

Our Good Sam representatives just rated us 8, 10*, and 10- again! We're building a new, larger office this summer since we've outgrown our old one after 17 years, getting another washer/dryer unit, and always have a great staff to assist campers so everyone has a good stay. Thanks for coming and for your review.
During our 3 month trip to Alaska, in which we stayed at over 40 campgrounds, this was one of the best parks we encountered. The reception/check-in process was quick and friendly. Overall a terrific RV park. It's situated inside the reservation boundary and the access road from the interstate is maintained by (or rather, not maintained) by them. Severe washboard for a significant distance to the park entrance, GO SLOW. The park road owned by the RV park (also gravel) is WELL maintained. Staff, facilities, sunsets and lack of noise were all exceptional. No wifi, cable or air TV was a pleasant "getaway" evening. Sites were a little challenging to get level, but we did... Read More

This park is lovely, super neat and clean. Closest park to the Battle of Little Bighorn site. Sparkling clean restrooms. Pull through sites are gravel but long and level. Lots of walking space and nice grass for the dog. Staff and check in were great. Wifi worked well. Does not have cable TV and no reception on antenna. It is close to the interstate but noise was not a problem. Sunsets were spectacular. We stayed 2 nights. We would definitely stay here again.
The camp is located a few miles off the interstate. Easy to find. It is extremely quiet, no noise what so ever. The grounds are immaculate. The restrooms are fantastic. The staff is wonderful. We loved the complimentary huckleberry ice cream sandwiches at check in (wish I knew where to buy them)!! Highly recommend this camp site. We will return!!!
Very nice park. We were at the top of the park with beautiful views. Some sites could be a challenge in leveling, but we didn't have that problem. Very nice staff. Would stay here again.
Thank you for your kind review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay! Feel free to come back anytime- the ice cream & Big Sky will be waiting!
Very nice RV Park. Only downside no cable or wifi
We don't have cable out here in the country- just awesome views- great satellite reception, beautiful skies, bird-watching, trails to hike, Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument nearby and AWESOME FREE Wi-Fi.
Super nice people, they gave me free ice cream at check in! Level, shaded, gravel sites, well laid out, very nice restroom/showers. Be aware this is a ranch, so keep your screen door shut to keep out the flies.
Great Basecamp for the Battlefield. Friendly staff and clean sites. Be sure to climb the hill to the flag and cross and enjoy the view. Better yet do it after dark!
nice clean rv park. Sites were gravel but level and well maintained. Nice location, easy access to all the local points of interest. Would certainly stay here again if back in the area.
Free ice cream when we got there! What a great place. The restrooms and showers were spotless and well maintained. Water is soft there so don't use much soap. The only thing I would like to see is the addition of a dump station. Perhaps bath mats in the shower as the floor was a little slippery. We would love to go back.
For an overnight stay the long pull in is so nice. The hook ups easy. The staff were so helpful. They guide you and help you pull in. Might need block to level side to side. The bathrooms super nice. Easy to drive through. This campground is the closest to Little Big Horn Battlefield. Have food because it is a little far from Hardin..Garryowen doesn't have much. Great Wifi! No TV but had an Amazon Firestick Hooks up easy.
First the staff was so friendly and helpful! The campground itself is nice and for the most part well shaded. Good Sam has just left there before we got there doing a rating and she said they couldn't get 5 stars because they didn't have a pool and as beautiful as the campground was and the staff was super friendly... it is hot and they definitely needed a pool there. The RV sites were on a step layout which was refreshing not being window to window with the neighbors. The RV park is far enough off the highway that we heard no road noise at night. We felt safe staying in this park.
We would highly recommend this RV park and we definitely will stay there any time we are up in that area. The only draw back would be the short county road which is very poorly maintained. Wash board to say the least. Drive slow.

This is a very well kept campground. It is well off the "beaten path". Only road noise would be I-90 which is within site of campground and a rail line. We did not find noise as disturbing. We did not utilize laundry or shower facilities. The museum at the exit does have post office, Subway, gift shop and has only gasoline - no diesel. This was our third stay and found it to be very comfortable.
The good: The campground has almost level pull-thru sites up on a hill overlooking the Little Bighorn River and Interstate 90. Many of the sites are shady. The bathrooms were clean with four showers and four stalls on each side (Men/Women). A key code is required to open the bathroom door. There is a coin laundry with two washers and two dryers between the bathrooms. There is a playground, horseshoe pit and a covered pavilion. The campground is well maintained. The bad: If you choose to not have full hookups there is a $15 charge to dump. The campground's web site says there is cable TV at full hookup sites but it was not present. I had reservations confirmed by an e-mail from the owner more than 3 months ago (which I showed her) which she had incorrect in the campground reservation computer. The owner was snippy with both me and my daughter. In trying to resolve a billing issue where she charged me for an extra night she told her associate that I "had been nothing but trouble from the beginning".
Even though the park was nice I would not go back because of the owner's poor attitude.

What a pleasant surprise. This is a beautiful RV park, with warm friendly staff, nice spacious sites, grass and trees and it sits on a fairly large hill so the sites are tiered and you have wonderful views of the valley below. Unfortunately we were just passing through and only got to stay for one night. But I could see spending time here as it is a jewel. Well kept, peaceful and beautiful.
Check in was ok. Guy who took us to site ok. Even trimmed branches away from rear slide out. Next am decided to stay another night so could visit Little Bighorn that day. That was mistake as I was told I would have to bring coach down hill to office and sign in again. We discussed on way up hill and decided to leave. And they stepped out of office and waved as we were leaving.

This is a wonderful campground. Very nice terraced sites that are fairly level. Terracing with staggered pull through sites allows you to see over the neighbor unit. Good spacing between sites as well. Sites are well maintained. Excellent water quality and pressure. Take the time to hike up to the flag area at the top of the hill for a beautiful sunset. Check in was very easy with free ice cream. Very quiet campground. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Sites are terraced up the hill so you are not looking directly in your neighbors windows. They had nice tent sites and teepees. Very clean and large restrooms. Laundry was clean but we did have to wait in line to do laundry because they have 2 washers/2 dryers. There was a playground for little ones to burn off energy:) Pet friendly park with their own farm animals in the nearby pastures. Just a few miles from the Custer Battlefield. Make sure you take a tour of this historical (and moving) site.

Thanks! Next time you make a reservation be sure to note that you are a Return Guest & request a site! We'll do our best to get you to the top of the hill! We love those sites too.
I don't know why Good Sam rates the facility at an 8, but it is a 10 by my book. Best place to learn about the REAL history of Custer's Last Stand. Friendly, Informative and Polite staff. Grounds were immaculate and level. Lots of places to hike and enjoy rock hunting. Plenty of room for big rigs and pull thru's. Will return!
Thank you for your great comments! Our 8 comes from the gravel county road which we can't control- we appreciate your positive thoughts though! Please feel free to come back for more of our Big Skies & History anytime. Happy trails!
Excellent place to stay while visiting Little Bighorn. Looks like campground has been refurbished.
Thanks! Actually we built the campground 15 years ago & it continues to be our labor of love! We always have new projects we want to add in & enjoy watching campers benefit! This year we're doing some extra amenities for the Super Sites, enhancing the walking trails...
Great resort near The Little Big Horn National Park. Easy to find and just off the interstate. Check in was quick and easy and we were escorted to our space in no time. While the resort is somewhat terraced the spaces are level with some green space and trees. Wonderful views from the sites of the countryside. As an added bonus we got free ice cream! We would definitely stay here again!
The ice cream is stocked again with MT made Wilcoxson's bars and sandwiches- even the Huckleberry!
They gave us directions on phone when we got confused helped us again. When we checked in guided us to the site. They have hiking/biking trails. They come by to see how you are. They are so friendly. Would love to stay longer.
Yes! We remember! We always tell travelers in eastern MT and WY to follow highway signs because sometimes other ways aren't right. If you're ever in our area again please stop by. Happy trails!

This was our second stay at 7th Ranch. The campground is peaceful and far off the beaten path. Pads are gravel, but level. There is no cable service and antenna channels are minimal. Hosts are helpful and friendly. Campground is near the Little Bighorn Battleground and it is worth a day's visit.
Thanks for your comments. We're finding most travelers are using their satellites or computers if they want news or movies. Many enjoy the stars & sunsets & stay up late watching because there is no sky pollution.
This is a very well laid out campground easy in and out - sites were level and the folks were friendly. Yes, they still give away ice cream when you check in and the restrooms were the cleanest we have seen beyween South Carolina and the Alaska Highway.
That's a long way! Thanks for the high praise- we're doing our best to keep it up!

Our only complaint would be the sites are not roomy. It does not appear to be an old campground and yet when the slides are out on your camper, it takes up the entire site. The grill was only about 2 feet from our slide, so we never used it for fear of melting the side of our camper.
The campsites were so close, we did not feel comfortable sitting outside of our camper as we would disturbing our neighbor by carrying on a conversation so close to the next rv.
It being prime camping season, the park stayed full. We were there for three days and saw a lot of campers coming and going. It just seems that the campers could be spaced apart until the park fills up, but as soon as a camper left on either side of us, another would be assigned to that empty spot rather than putting them in distant spot.
We would have given this campground five stars, except that it really felt like a parking lot for rv's rather than a campground.

Our sites are all long pull-thru's- from 70' to over 120' so we accommodate the Biggest Rigs with no problem. They are also 30' wide with lawns, tables, and grills. If you come again ask the camphost to park you closer to the hook-ups so you have more room to grill.
This camp ground is outstanding! The owners are super and very helpful. Don't miss this one if you are on I-90 in Montana. Super convenient to Custer's Battlefield.

You could see the milkyway with your own eyes and the pictures I took were darn near magazine quality. Very peaceful and highly recommended.

Thank you! Come back anytime- our good service, sites & stars are still here!
We didn't have a reservation but they had plenty of spaces to accommodate. The free ice cream they offered us upon our arrival was so refreshing after spending a warm day touring Little Big Horn Battlefield. Their restrooms were spotless and the showers were the cleanest we had ever been in. The music in the restrooms was a pleasant surprise! We used the laundry, 2 washers and 2 dryers. Enough for us to get our laundry done in one sitting. They had yard games and we watched as three grown sisters... Read More

They had yard games and we watched as three grown sisters play tetherball. Was a very pleasant stay.
The RV sites were on a step layout which was refreshing not being window to window with the neighbors. The RV park is far enough off the highway that we heard no road noise at night. We felt safe staying in this park.
We would highly recommend this RV park and we definitely will stay there any time we are up in that area.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. We appreciate it! We're open again and ready for another great summer of fun meeting so many interesting travelers & sharing our part of MT.
Nice park, we only stayed 3 nights to visit Little Bighorn Battlefield, Wi-Fi worked well, sited were gravel but level.
Little Bighorn Battlefield & the area museums are all ready for another great summer! Be sure to visit Big Horn County Museum if you're ever back in our area!
