Small Town Ashland Nebraska Attractions
A new campground just one block from charming downtown Ashland, Nebraska. Walk to Shopping in downtown Ashland, Art galleries, two wineries, Disc golf, Walking trails, Dog Park, Bicycle and mountain bike trails.
Stayed two nights in 35' Class A with toad. This park is very nice and has that very manicured military feel. Looks like all the sites are paved. As noted be very careful of the low RR bridge - go around. We intended to visit the SAC Museum but sometimes life has other things in store. This review is more a reminder to puppy parents that you can't predict when a medical emergency may come up. While here we nearly lost our 10yo Bulldog. This review is more a reminder to puppy parents that you can't predict when a medical emergency may come up. While here we nearly lost our 10yo Bulldog. We were able to get her into an emergency vet in Omaha on a Sunday. They stabilized her. We weren't expecting a problem so when it happened it was quite a shock. Make sure your location is turned on on your cell phone when traveling so when you Google things nearby the correct info shows up. Read the pamphlet the park gives you so might note emergency numbers. Management - include pet emergency info in your park map. This would have almost been easier if it was a human emergency because 911 works almost anywhere.
Travel safe.

Outstanding campground for a short stay. Looks very new and clean, only missing the shade of trees that an earlier review noted will come with time. The website has an aerial view that provides excellent truth in advertising my pad (#4) did indeed get some tree shade as depicted. Laundry machines are inexpensive. Friendly host. Adjacent walking/biking trail alongside a creek. The little downtown within walking distance has an upscale bakery and cider house with fine food, plus a hardware store for... Read More

Beautiful little park in Ashland. We were in a pull-through spot with full hook-ups. Very nice and would recommend. Construction made getting to the park a little challenging and leaving there is a low railroad viaduct you have to go around. Be sure to check your map! But would certainly recommend the park.
This is a new, well planned RV park with large concrete RV pads, each with a picnic table and fire ring. Grass throughout, with young trees throughout that will only grow and add to the open, clean spacious look. A quaint 2-block downtown with shops, beer and wine, all within easy walking distance from the park. Plus, a Walmart is not that far away. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND !
We talk about Resorts and Campgrounds but now we have something in between. Campgrounds generally are dirt roads, shared water spickets and out houses, but not Ashland RV Campground. What they have done is very nice, they have paved the interior roads, provided a nice large slab to accommodate even big rigs (45') like us and added water and electric to the game. In addition, there is WiFi (that works!!!), laundry rooms, bath/shower rooms, onsite campground host and firewood. The campground is located... Read More

The campground is located conveniently 25 minutes from both Omaha and Lincoln in a quaint little town we a few amenities. We found the owner of the campground and the host to be very accommodating and easy to work with. Great place to stay and enjoy the surrounding areas.
