The spaces were pull through and large. Owners were very nice and helpful, thanking us for choosing their park multiple times. We only stayed for one night as we were chasing the road to our destination. Nice feature of a pond and even a tornado shelter. Most places state to shelter in the restrooms/showers. There was tall corn growing along the fence. I did not get a chance to use the restroom to rate it. My only concern was that the information page given out stated that the water had agricultural... This is a small campground however one can see the pride of ownership. Owners very nice and helpful. Grounds very clean, restrooms very clean, nice places to walk and relax on a swing. Even has a tornado shelter. Wish more have them. Will stay here whenever I travel west.

Beautiful quiet park right off I-80 in Henderson, Nebraska. Very well maintained and clean. Doesn't have any long-term campers. Large pull-through full service sites. We have a 40' class A and were pulling a tow car and had no problems pulling in. Owners operate the park and are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here twice, once in July 2020, again in August. Especially impressed with beauty and neatness of the grounds. Wide, green lawns, big green trees, and a pretty lake with free paddle boats a few steps away. I have a 25-foot travel trailer, 30 amps. Easy pull-through site. Nice and level. Water tastes good, which is not always the case. Can hear freeway traffic, but it's not oppressive. Hosts are extra-helpful. Heading home from a 9 week vacation when we found all campgrounds full in NE and IA - the common "no room in the inn" situation. I found Prairie Oasis in my internet search and took a chance they might have space for us. What a find!!! Owners were using every other campsite for campers, full hookups at each site, clean facility, clean grounds, but the greatest part is the Nebraska steaks for sale in the office. I bought four (big enough to split) and we've been home 1 week and just finished... Read More

I bought four (big enough to split) and we've been home 1 week and just finished our last steak. Don't ignore the fantastic buy and meal. Not only is the campground a "neat" find off the interstate, but so was our meal.

This campground is a true "Oasis". We've traveled through Wyoming and Nebraska the last several days, and this property is park like with much green grass, huge shade trees, a fish pond, and several swings-a true gem. The park is 1/2 mile off the interstate: sites are gravel but level, immaculate bathrooms, fresh muffins at check in.The owners efforts are evident everywhere. We've been on the road 6 weeks, and this is by far one of the best!

This is a truly perfect oasis, nestled between corn fields with many shade trees and well kept grassy sites. It is evident the owners take immense pride in this park. They are very welcoming, helpful and friendly, providing fresh baked cookies and escorting you to your site. Facility is well kept with updated, spotless restrooms. Surprisingly quiet while close to I80, due to trees and lush landscape. This is a reasonably priced gem!

This is really a great campground and I hope to stay here again. The owners were very friendly at check in. As others have mentioned, they gave me 2 homemade muffins at check in. As I was alone she said that I could have one muffin that evening and one for breakfast. Hah, they didn't last 5 minutes once I got in my RV they were that good. The grounds are like a large park and appear to be very well maintained. Most of the sites are not shaded but there are plenty of trees and large, grassy areas... Read More

The sites are level and grass is between each site. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. It is a short, easy drive off of the interstate but little or no noise from the highway. A great place to stop!

Stayed here overnight on a long haul. What a gem. Very open, clean and easily accessible campground. Plenty of room to exercise fur babies. There is a pond with a small boat available for use. Upon arrival, we checked in at the office which was clean and organized. Our Hostess even provided us a couple of delicious muffins. How's that for hospitality? Our Host escorted us to our site and got us perfectly lined up with utilities and offered additional assistance. Very kind. Great Satellite... Read More

This is now on our, "Must Stay" list when traveling this route. Thanks Prairie Oasis for a warm welcoming and perfect nights rest.

I have never seen such clean restrooms. They were great!!! Also the owners very helpful and gave us home made cookies when we checked in..... (It didn't do much for my diet but they were delicious.)

Very friendly staff. There are free padde boats and a horseshoe pit. The site are very close together and set up more for motorhomes and 5th wheel. Because my utilites are at the back I could not reach the sewer and my water hose was at its limit too if I wanted to be fairly level. The mens washroom was spotless but we were unable to assess the womens washroom due to some camper's children who trashed it and it was closed for cleaning. The parents denied their darling children would do such a thing even when caught red handed by the owner. Too bad Goodsam doesn't have a system to notify eachother about abusers like these and deny them access to all Goodsam campgrounds. Overall a nice place to park for the night.

Traveling across country in November and stopped for the night at the Oasis. VERY clean and great hosts. All facilities show pride in ownership.

We stayed here for the total solar eclipse. We were welcomed by the owners and escorted to our site. Very reasonable price for being in the path of totality. We had a awesome time viewing the eclipse here. Grounds were well kept. Right off I-80 but quiet. We would definitely stay there if we happen to pass that way again. Storm shelter is available on site.

We stayed for one night and it was great! The staff was so friendly, the facility was immaculate, and the site was perfect. After a long day driving my kids loved the paddle boats and playground. I can't say enough about this campground!

We just spent a night on our way from Colorado to Iowa, but chose to spend another night on our way home. The owners were super nice and helpful. One night, they gave us two homemade muffins and offered to give us a little firewood. There is a lovely little pond with swings near it for adults and children as well. The owners are super dog-friendly. It is right near the highway which is great for access, but also a tad noisy, which one must expect. This campground and its owners is just excellent! Read More

(see their web page for details, other amenities and places to visit). The owners are generous, hard-working, continually improving their campground and welcome visitors with home-made goodies. This is our third or fourth visit here and we'll return whenever possible. We highly recommend it to others. We stayed in May for six nights. Tips: It is some miles from the nearest shops so bring provisions. Apart from the office shop with food, rv supplies and crafts, there is a truck stop immediately over the I-80 bridge towards Henderson with extra items. We really enjoyed touring the Mennonite Heritage Center near the town, which was well worth a visit. Also had an amazing Sunday buffet at "Chances R" in York.

I really liked the laid back atmosphere at this campground. They were busy but it didn't seem like it which meant for a very relaxing stay. I had my four dogs with us and they were just as welcomed as we were which is very important to me.
