The Dayton RV Park is our 86th stop and we stayed for 12 nights as our jumping off point to Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, Carson City and Reno. Only 15 minutes from Carson City, the park is small but clean, well-maintained, is quiet and feels safe. It has a nice dog park (though we took advantage of the sidewalks on Hwy 50), a nice patio area and decent laundry facilities. In terms of the sites, they are the tightest ones we have been in to date but knew that in advance – not an issue for us. Many... Read More

Nice level concrete pad with artificial turf covering other areas (no dirt!!!). The utilities were well-placed but had to carefully pull-in to ensure adequate space for slides. All in all, would stay here again in the future. In terms of connectivity midday, 3.2 down/0.4 up and was okay but used hotspot for streaming. Verizon 65.5 down/11.6 up T-Mobile 37.0 down/1.9 up.

Spaces are definitely too close together. Coaches next to each other cannot both fully extend awnings. Picnic table needed to be moved to extend slide-out. On the other hand this would not be a deal breaker for me when visiting Dayton again. Appreciated space being long enough to accommodate my 38' mh + motorcycle trailer. Wi-fi was strong unlike other parks that advertise they have it but you can't use it
My wife and I are new to the RV scene, and we didn't know much about RV Parks. We came and looked at Dayton RV park prior to coming here, and it was the best of the 4 we looked at in the Carson City area. Beautiful views, close shopping, very clean park, friendly people, and an all around great place to be. The onsite manager is friendly, helpful, and always looking to make it fun to be here. The day before New Years eve we had a get together, with good eats, and fun conversation. The views are... Read More

Clean spaces, well kept park over all, and a pleasant experience. I would recommend anyone coming to this area to come by and stay a while. You won't regret it.

We stayed a week. The sits where very closed together. Though the park was clean. The owner seemed very guppy and not to friendly. Most of the sites where for full timers with in defendant checkout times. not recommended to a family with kids and dogs. Extreme dog rules/
Hello Bob, As the New Owner/Operator, and new member of Good Sam Club (as of June 2017), we take feedback from our customers very serious. Every now and then we do receive input from travelers who put a review on the wrong website and in reviewing our customers history, we were unable to verify you staying at the park, in April 2016, or anytime for that matter. We welcome you to come experience the Dayton RV Park first hand! Meet Rich our onsite Manager, and perhaps myself, the owner! Happy... Read More
