Apparently I am also the previous reviewer. Stayed again in space #30. Again all was quiet and makes for a good stop off. This time was a weekend so there was more camper activity, but it was quiet enough. Lots of trees. Will stay again in a month or so. Maybe I will be the next reviewer as well =)

We stayed one night mid-April in 35' class A with toad. Site was level and nearly long enough, decent hook ups, quiet park. This was just a stop on the way to Vegas and the options for stay are limited. We have stayed other places in the area and I think this was the nicest with fewer long terms. Later in the year the large trees would be very welcome relief from the desert sun. Did not use the facilities. Will probably stay again.

After traveling across surprisingly beautiful northern Nevada on US HWY 50, dubbed "America's Loneliest Highway", we arrived at this typical KOA in Ely, NV. We camped here one night the third week of September 2018. The campground made a good first impression as we pulled into this easy to find and attractive campground. The ladies behind the desk were accommodating and polite as we got checked in, but they were not as friendly as most campground owners/managers I've encountered. Our pull-through... Read More

The ladies behind the desk were accommodating and polite as we got checked in, but they were not as friendly as most campground owners/managers I've encountered. Our pull-through campsite was reasonably level and ok for the night. Cable TV was available with full hook-up including water, sewer and 50 amp electric for $47 a night. A nice dog park with grass was available on site. There were a lot of long-term "full-timers" living there, but the place was maintained well enough. We purchased propane but did not use the public restroom or showers during our stay. A negative for me was that there was too much loose gravel all around the the park. Walking around the park was like trudging through very loose sand and it was dusty dirty (the dogs needed a bath after leaving here). I also felt that the campground was overpriced. If I had to stop in Ely, NV, I would consider staying at this KOA again.

We spent one night at the Ely KOA on our way to Las Vegas. I gave them 3 stars only because we're used to staying in bigger, fancier RV resorts. Comparing apples to apples this would be a 4 star. We had no complaints and I can verify pretty much everything good that was said above except the condition of the showers, rest rooms, etc, because we didn't use them. The park is gravel, but very little dust so we didn't mind that, and the spots are long enough that we didn't have to unhook from our... Read More

Their WiFi was down, but our Verizon phones and data worked well. They said "the cable TV company had pulled their equipment and left town, but you get 30 some channels over the air". Actually, almost every channel was doubled up so you really only about 15, and setting aside info channels you end up with about 4 that are actually watchable. Nice little park, we'll definitely be staying there again.

Friendly staff. Nice spacious RV parking and road ways. All gravel but not much dust. You are right next to the highway. Slightly expensive but not much choice or competition in town. If you don't mind dry camping there are other alternatives to consider.

Making reservations at KOA's is always easy, especially to do online. Check-in process was very smooth, and the property was easy to find. Right off one of the highways in the area. Interior roads were easy to navigate, and the pull-thru site was side enough for slides on both side, very level. Our particular space was all gravel (fine with us). The utilities worked fine, used 50 amp service, water and sewer. All hook-ups worked. We did use the antenna, and were only able to get a couple... Read More

Wi-fi didn't work great, but it unusual to find a property where it does work good. But got OK reception from my AT&T phone. Park was extremely clean, well-maintained, including the restrooms and showers. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the cleanliness of the facilities; ours was a 'passing through' stop - bathroom cleanliness was a 10! Kids enjoyed outside movies too - thanks KOA folks, great job

We stayed for one night on our way through. Spotlessly clean restrooms, roomy showers with a nice bench and rubber mat on the floor to keep feet dry, lever handles on the sinks - great for my arthritic hands. We arrived late and all the details we needed were waiting for us. Friendly staff. Lovely treed sites. Fast Internet. Would definitely stay here again.
