The only issue was bad wifi and cable but the manager informed me that this was changing Jan 2020 to a new provider. Great clean facilities.
Stay here was good, easy hook ups, easy to maneuver in and out of, and dog park had grass and was a decent size. The only reasons for the 4 star rating is wife commented that park looked like it was in a rough part of Las Vegas as we were on the final drive up to the entrance (no issues about security in the park while we were there) and that this park is pretty much a converted parking lot but made to look a lot nicer. Would I stay here again yes. The park was quiet after hours, staff and other campers were nice, and the facilities were great. It's about a 15min drive to the Strip and there's a casino right next door, but you don't hear any noise from it.

Strange review. KOA Samstown has two sites. Main (South) site for short term visits would rate a "5 star". Longer term visits (weekly or monthly) are relegated to the North (Nellis) site. There, the residents are long term and it looks pretty bad. Old decrepit trailers, with tons of junk piled outside, weird people, nasty receptionist. Lots of dogs, not contained by leashes or in the dog walk area. All together, not a great experience.
Good location next to Sam's Town casino/hotel. Quick check-in with friendly staff. Nice clean sites. Quiet except for a little commercial airplane noise from departing aircraft (not enough to be a problem for us). Pull-through sites are a little short for a 31-foot 5th wheel and long-bed pickup, but streets are wide enough to make it work.
