We stayed 2 nights to visit some attractions in the area. The park is located off I-80 (Exit 20 – Sparks Blvd) along busy congested multi lane city streets. The interior roads are paved. The interior roads and turns are sufficient to maneuver larger RV’s for an experienced driver. The sites are generally level and flat. The parking pads are gravel. The sites are a mixture of pull throughs in the middle and back ins along the outer perimeter. Some of the P/T sites were long enough to stay... Read More

The interior roads are paved. The interior roads and turns are sufficient to maneuver larger RV’s for an experienced driver. The sites are generally level and flat. The parking pads are gravel. The sites are a mixture of pull throughs in the middle and back ins along the outer perimeter. Some of the P/T sites were long enough to stay connected but others were shorter. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. There appeared to be some extended stay sites. Not much distance between the sites – just enough room for tow vehicle parking. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were about mid site. Sewer fitting at ground level so establishing a downhill flow would be dependent upon discharge point. There was an outside table.
There are quite a few trees scattered throughout the park and around the perimeter so satellite reception would be dependent upon your site and dish configuration. Was able to receive DISH programming using a portable dish sitting on the ground though a gap in the trees. Park brochure lists 38 cable channels. Didn’t try to get any OTA channels.
Didn’t try the park provided password protected WiFi or the NET10 phone so don’t know about reception.
Three designated fenced pet areas around the park with gravel surface. Bag dispensers / waste collection stations at the pet areas only. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park’s roads. But park’s rule state that “All pets must use pet runs and are not allowed to go potty at your site, end caps or throughout the park. If seen, a $50 charge will be imposed.”
We didn’t use the showers/restrooms or laundry.
We would probably stay here again if traveling through the area.

This is a very nice upscale facility in Sparks very close to Reno and and all attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. We called and made our reservation at Sparks Marina RV Park a couple of months before we arrived. I let the lady who answered the phone know that we have a 1999 Winnebago, she asked what kind of shape it is in, I said it’s good, 22 years old but has all the doors and windows. We arrived and was checked in by a very nice employee. We set up camp as usual, put our cat condo that has a bottom and totally enclosed in the window, this allows our two house cats to enjoy the area, the condo is a small pet kennel, well made and looks nice, we have had many people take pictures and asked where we got it. On our third day at the park my wife received a call from the park and was told very gruffly to remove the cat cage from the window, stuff like that is not allowed, the caller was rude and demanding. As soon as we got back to the park, we unloaded groceries and removed the cat condo. My wife and I re read the rules, nowhere could we find anything about cat condos or windows. I went down to the office and let them know the condo was removed, the gentleman at the counter said thanks, he said he was the one that called, I said you didn’t have to be so rude, he said he must be rude to make sure things get done. About this time the manager came out and said he trained him that way and that’s the way it is. I said I always try to follow the rules, but I didn’t see where I was breaking any of the rules. Both the counter person and the manager said its in the rules, I said I could not find anything can they show me. Both employees looked through the rule book, neither could find the offence listed. Without a reply, the manager in a very gruff manner said your rig is a 1999 and you should not even be here, we don’t take anything over 10 years old. I explained when I registered, I said it is a 1999, the lady said it would be OK, that didn’t matter to the manager, he stated he was doing us a favor letting us stay but we would never be allowed back in with that rig. This entire time the lady in the office kept yelling that when we registered, we were told we can’t put anything in the windows (not true). Anyway, in our opinion the management is rude, enforces rules that may or may not exist and has a little bit of a power trip. Although we had 3 days left at the park and knew they would not refund our money for the remaining 3 days, we packed up and left. I’m a retired US Navy Officer with 30 years of active-duty service, my wife is a retired Nurse, we both are pretty laid back but the attitude repeatedly displayed by the staff at Sparks Marina RV Park was unnecessary and uncalled for, we did not feel comfortable staying. When an organization makes up rules on the spot and then don’t enforce their own rules makes life difficult for the customer

Very nice, clean, quiet and above all level!! We loved the marina that had walking and biking trails. Very close to shopping and restaurants.
Definitely not dog friendly. This is a nice clean park with good space between the sites but if you are traveling with pets. Don't bother. There is turf between each site that you are not allowed to have dogs pee on. You are not allowed to have dog fence up on turf without a bottom on it. There are signs everywhere that say the dogs can't go there. They do have 2 dog areas they are allowed to go to. My dog is diabetic and has to go a lot and can't always hold it. SNOOTY After a very long road trip my rv had accumulated a bit of dirt. It was late but the manager refused us entry into his rv park unless we washed our rv. I am 73 years old and my partner is disaabled. We were only scheduled to stay one night. To add insult to injury they refused to refund our money.

Lots of staff around the property during the day, as was Security after dark. It was a nice treat to step out of our rig and be on green "grass". An added bonus was the ability to get out for lovely walks around the lake only a half block away.
Check in staff were helpful . We very much appreciated that, being unable to decide if we wanted to stay 4 or 5 nights, they allowed us to pay for 4 and " blocked off" the fifth until we decided. At the time, we weren't aware that it was the long weekend of Nevada Days! We appreciated this very much and, in he end, stayed 5 nights.
We have been RVing for years and cannot think of anything that we would ask for different or better of an RV park, especially one so close to a city.

Saw them going around trying to find people who weren't following rules. Can't do anything on their fake grass. You would think they wouldn't want to make enemies of repeat customers, but he doesn't care. The owner needs an attitude adjustment and customer service training. I told him I was going to share our experience online, and he said he didn't care as his park was full. Funny, looked pretty empty to me as soon as Hot August nights were over.
Very small skinny sites. Your slide is in the neighbor's site. Wifi was not good. Sewer drain - needed 3 hoses to get to it, and it is in the middle of your neighbor's driveway.

Pulled in, asked employee to watch height clearance as their overhead checking canopy was 13' 8", I told the employee we were 13'6 at least and was concerned about the clearance, and to please watch it.
Next asked check in employee that I wanted to review check-in check-out dates and dollar amounts before signing the payment form. Once verified I was good.
He also evidently took issue with my slow and careful driving exiting the check in area to watch clearances of our 40' trailer around all the curves.
The owner of this park needs to fire this manager and hire one who knows how interact with customers.
Also this park want's payment of all day's when reserving site, instead of 1 day non-refundable and remainder cost's on check-in like most parks. Probably as way to get every penny out of you before they call the police to kick you out, with NO refund, unless you purchase cancellation insurance for $ 35.00!
Sites are astroturf. Site length's on websites are inaccurate, said 60 feet, more like 45 or 50 feet, tow vehicles have to park next to your RV, sites are very close to each other. My tow vehicle was 1 1/2 feet from our slides and our neighbor's slides.
I RECOMMEND YOU FIND ANOTHER PARK TO PATRONIZE WITH YOUR BUSINESS.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER HAD EXPERIENCE WITH A RV PARK LIKE THIS!

Clean, trees and friendly staff.
Lovely place, no marina, could not get satalite, wifi was horrible, and I was chewed out by a staff member because my young dog 'urinated on the turf' upon finally being taken out of the coach. He actually blotted it with towel an treated it with cleaner. Not so dog friendly. I also fell in the driveway. About 5 or 6 employees saw me fall and not one of them came to help me or inquire if I was okay. For this I would give it a zero.
The park is very nice, one of the nicest we've stayed. However, office staff and the manager in particular take away from the experience. The website states they do not guarantee satellite coverage. i requested a satellite friendly space on their on-line reservation. On arrival, we were not assigned a satellite friendly spot. The website states they do not guarantee satellite coverage. i requested a satellite friendly space on their on-line reservation. On arrival, we were not assigned a satellite friendly spot. Their handout states that sites are assigned by staff at check-in.
I went to the office and asked to be moved to a space that was not occupied and I knew my satellite would work. The moment I asked, the attitude of the office staff became noticeably hostile. When the staffer asked why I wanted to change, his tone was curt. He typed something into the computer, but I don't know whether or not he actually checked for availability. He said the spaces were not available. I asked about the policy on the handout the sites are assigned at check in. He said the sites were assigned and they were not going to change anything. As I was about to walk away, he gave a sarcastic "sorry". Another staffer asked what I was requesting, to which she replied "we don't guarantee satellite coverage", as if that was supposed to end of the matter. She also mentioned that they offer cable. I admit I was getting angry and with a raised voice said "I know that".
The manager came in from outside and had a visibly hostile attitude toward me. He said the park was full and no moves were going to be made, and if there was another incident, I would be asked to leave.
I returned to my space. The manager came out and made a suggestion to back my rig. I explained that the result would be my rig in the traffic lane. I asked if it was unreasonable to maintain a list of spaces with less mature trees that would allow for satellite reception in cases like mine. He replied that they would not do that, and that he runs his park the way he wants. I tried to explain that I pay for my satellite and that I get more channels than their cable provides, and that I can't record their cable on my DVR. The conversation continued to get more and more heated, but I stayed on point, did not use profanity or put downs. He cut me off, told me I had a bad attitude and that he was not going to cut down any trees. It felt as if he were trying to bait me into saying or doing something that would give him a real reason to evict us. We were outside and next to a neighboring camper whose door was open and heard the entire exchange.
They did not have an actual reason for denying the move. They simply did not want to. The manager and office staff were rude and not helpful. The handout also states that no refunds are given for early departure for any reason. Once they have your money, they don't care about how they treat you if you have a request they don't intend to honor. They seem to not have any problem with lying either. The park was never full.
I will not be staying there again. The owners need to look into how the manager treats paying guests.

Wonderful place to stay in the Reno area. Level, paved sites, fabulous restrooms/showers, wonderful clubhouse and pool, efficient and helpful staff. You're in a developed area (with easy access to upscale dining and shopping in Sparks and Reno), so the sites will be close together, but folks here are well behaved and it's a very pleasant experience all around.
I really liked it here. Its large but sites are spacious. Very well organized, with lots of rules. Didnt use restrooms but facility was well maintained and staff helpful. Dog runs were amazing and super clean. They even had recycling which all parks should have at this point. Wifi pretty good. Convenient to shopping, walk around man made lake.
I'm only giving 4 stars for an overall rating. The management appears to be rule-bound and somewhat enforcement happy. Put succinctly, it's a bit too precious for my taste. I know the problems in a major Nevada city in keeping standards high, but customers should be treated as customers, not as a revenue source. Nearby shopping and eateries are numerous.
This was our first visit to this park but it won't be our last. Park was very clean and quiet. Great location in the heart of the Reno area. Spacious sites with easy access close to the freeway, shopping and casinos. Truly a top notch park.
Ok, I'm here for the Reno Air Races. Made a reservation to be side by side with a friend in sites that would let us have our doors open to the same area so we faced each other. Unfortunately my friend had to cancel due to a medical condition but the still had them in the computer when I checked in to be side by side. I do not use the showers and such but I did go by to check them out. Nice clean facilities that are well maintained.
Everything is paved or astroturf at the sites. I haven't seen any that do not look level. My only compliant might be I'd like a little more room between them our just a bit longer. Still there is plenty of parking for our 45' unit and tow.
The internet works. I've had my coach logged into their network since arriving. It is hassle free and pretty fast.
There is cable TV but I get a snowy picture but I've had snow cable just about every where we've stayed that has provided cable. Beginning to think there may be a problem with our coach so I'll be having it checked.
There is a little lake across the street with a 2 mile trail around it. The trail has a nice dog run on the opposite side from the RV park where you can take you dogs for a swim it you'd like. It even has benches to sit on while the dogs play. It is fenced down to the water so they do not have to stay on leash. The park itself has 3 dog runs. Two at one end and one at the other. With everything being paved or astroturf they require dogs only use the dog runs which are fenced as well.
The staff has been fantastic. Check in is easy and you are led to your site and they help get you parked. The lead in guys are out and about in the park all the time meaning help is near just about anytime you need them.
The park is just off I80 in Sparks and easy to get to. That being said, I use a Garmin and the Rand McNally that came in the coach and both lead you to a back gate which is locked and not to registration. The address is correct on Lincoln Way but the map data base info has not been updated. Ask for directions based on where you're arriving from. I expect the GPS directions will take another year or so to be corrected.
Finally there is a relatively new outlet mall across the street as well along with lots of eateries in the area.
We've had a great stay and will come again if we come to Reno.

Talked with a few of the other campers staying at the park and there seemed to be a change in the parks management earlier this year and some additional rules have been added or more watched out for. Not usually a big deal at parks but the staff here will let you know when the rules are not followed or are about to be broken.
There is some construction going next door, which we were told might be a small casino when finished. Not sure on the accuracy on this but hopefully whatever is built does not detract from the quality of this park.
I would stay here again. The staff was nice, facilities were great and the park's in a good location.

Love the greeting when driving in. Never had to get out of the coach since they pull up a step ladder and do everything thru the side window. Then, they'll escort you to your spot and help out if required. Very nice dog run too. We'd return without hesitation.
Probably the best RV park we've ever stayed at, and we have traveled in all 50 states. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, and affordable.

With a rating of 10/10/10 I was hoping they would come and put my bedding down and leave a mint on my pillow. Even with that not happening this has been one of the best places we have stayed. Much of the time I couldn't connect to it at all and if I could connect, the connection was often dropped. (We found this to be true at all but one of the RV Parks we visited on this road trip.)

This is one of the nicest RV parks we have ever visited. The sites are well organized and beautifully maintained. No grass, but each site has a small "lawn" of artificial turf. Great dog run area. Very clean pool and jacuzzi, along with a sizable clubhouse for group assemblies. They even have a putting green. The restrooms and showers were very nicely appointed, and were immaculate. What's more, the prices are reasonable, especially considering the location, along with the popularity of the... Read More

We stayed here for about two weeks and enjoyed the park. The sites are paved, easy to get into and have astro-turf grass. Lots of amenities in the park and great shopping, dining, and park within walking distance. This park is very well maintained and the staff were ALL super friendly. I would highly recommend this park!
We were very happy with our stay! Everything from the registration process to our parking space was top notch. We were greeted by professional staff member who made sure we felt special. One of the things that I appreciated was the cleanliness of the restroom and shower facilities. For me, this is a key measurement on how well the park is taken care of. The parking space is also very impressive with a private astro-turf green area, picnic table. Just down right comfortable. The park is located... Read More

The park is located in walking distance to a local style casino and is also close to the downtown Reno major casinos.
I fully enjoyed our stay and recommend it to my fellow RVers'

We stayed two nights and explored the adjacent city park on the little man made lake with walking trail around the lake. It's close to a few nice local casinos and easy access to the interstate but not very noisy except for a little local traffic. Nice little dog park on site plus dog walking areas outside the RV Park. The paved sites are ample size and comfortable.... Read More

We set up camp as usual, put our cat condo that has a bottom and totally enclosed in the window, this allows our two house cats to enjoy the area, the condo is a small... Read More
We called and made our reservation at Sparks Marina RV Park a couple of months before we arrived.
