What a nice find, so much to like! Ours was a short 3 day stay during a busy period (just the two of us) but plenty of seasonals hang out here. The back-in camping site was generous in size and well-shaded with mature trees. Everything at the site worked, including wifi! the bathrooms/showers are spotless. The grounds are clean and obviously well-maintained. Lots of extended families and friend groups hanging out together. Kids everywhere, yet very quiet and friendly. No rowdies. Nice... Read More

Lots of extended families and friend groups hanging out together. Kids everywhere, yet very quiet and friendly. No rowdies. Nice beach and dock, and the camp store was well-stocked.
The place was near-capacity, but it didn't feel all that crowded. The pool is popular, as is boating. We loved hanging on the beach, renting a golf car, and playing pickleball. Next time, we'll bring more water toys!

This campground was excellent . Recommend to all .they even sent out s service tech without a charge thank u danford bay.
We've been coming to Danforth Bay every October since 2006. What keeps us coming back are; The sites: huge and secluded, level with full hookups, internet connectivity, quiet, clean. Facilities: Club house, store, multiple pools, access to hiking (Mt Mary), lake access, gated, security. Staff: Extremely helpful and friendly. Restrooms: Extremely clean and heated. Access: 1/2 hour from Conway, North Conway ('Whites", outlets,) 10 minutes to route 16.
