Positives: Excellent location between Bristol and Meredith. Very wooded, lots of shade, friendly staff. Areas to improve: All roads and sites are gravel, no pull throughs & many not level. Campground is geared more to Travel Trailers, 5th wheels and tents, not large Class A's. No cable, poor satellite signals and WiFi weak. A overall rating of 9.5 is not accurate.
My husband and I became seasonal campers just this past summer. We were able to get a quiet, private site on top of a hill with trees all around and we absolutely LOVE it. My husband and I work hard and love the fact that it is only an hour from our home, but feels like another world. The campground is spotless, the showers are spotless and the owners are very nice. We attended a pot luck dinner at the end of the season and met some great people. Everyone was friendly. The pool is beautiful... Read More

The pool is beautiful and clean and the playground kept my 7 yr old busy with other kids he met there. We are closed up for the winter, but can't wait to go back in the spring. We truly relax there, yet you are close to shopping and scenic activities. We will be camping there for years to come.

The campground was easily accessible from the highway. It was located in the pine trees and provided a quiet camping environment. The site we were assigned was in a low area and if there had been rain we would have been surrounded with water, fortunately it did not rain while we were there. There is a nice camp store and facilities for activities. If in the area we would stay there again.
Restrooms were really dirty. Pool was covered in green slime and there were bugs floating in it. They advertised a lake that is actually off site. Sites were so close to each other that the trailer ended up being too close to the fire ring to use it in order to have a place to park the truck. They would not take our good Sam's club card even though they are a member campground
We enjoyed our extended stay (Aug, Sep & Oct 'til closing), found this park to be very nice with amenities that promoted a family-friendly atmosphere, and affordable monthly rates. Most sites are back-in among pine trees and hardwoods; many can accommodate big rigs (ours is 42" long). The park has a small, but nice playground and a small pool that provided our visiting grandchildren a clean, safe environment. The park offers natural rock formations, a small creek and nice sites in wooded surroundings; it is very pet friendly. We found the staff to be accommodating and friendly. The park flooded in some parts during heavy rains, but the water receded quickly once the rains stopped. The roads are unpaved, but that adds to the nature-infused feel of the park. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend you check it out.
