Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. Welcome to the park of sand and dust. If you do not want sand and dust then request the sites that are southeast of the office, sure wish we had! If you are looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax just beware this park is full of noisy kids. During off-season I imagine this park would be very quiet, but the sand and dust is not worth it for us. Our satellite did not work here (to many large trees... Read More

We just spent a great week at Beach Camping Area in North Conway. We were in a 32-foot Class C motorhome on a river-front site. The site was a bit narrower than we're used to, but it was not a problem.we would stay on that site again. The beach is wide and gorgeous. The new owners are doing a fine job improving and managing this campground. They're friendly, helpful and determined to once again make this the best campground on the Saco River. It takes time and money to bring back and maintain the quality of a campground. Please give these new owners a chance. The bathrooms are clean and the wooded sites are well taken care of, many with new picnic tables. Most of the sites are very spacious. Sites along the Saco River and beach front go fast, so it's best to book early. We were there during Columbus Day weekend.the campground was totally full. Even with all those people, there were no noise problems. The owners sponsored a chili cook-off on Saturday and provided live music and a bonfire on the beach that night. Everyone was having fun. There are other campgrounds along the Saco River but they're not nearly as nicely set up and peaceful as the Beach Camping Area. We're so glad we went back to this campground and we can't wait to return next year.
