Very friendly owners, good level sites, good graveled roads and sites. Dog run is watered regularly and two divided areas. Only complaint is this park was a old KOA and owner is upgrading electrical supply's. We had a issue where power was tripping out on our row of sites due to heavy use in the heat and multiple 50 amp rigs on the row. I did not ding the rating as the owner is working on upgrading the wiring by what I could tell. Big rig electricity usage needs have changed a lot since original... Read More

Finally a nice quiet rv spot in the Farmington/Bloomfield area I will be returning to on the next trip through. It's quiet. Nice folks to work with.Easy check-in.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we stayed in this trip. Far away from heavy traffic, good level sites with plenty of space between them and clean, highly functional restrooms/showers. Very nice!

Traveling full-time in a 42-foot coach we have stayed in over 400 RV Parks, we stayed here one night. (1) Clean, quiet and well-maintained park with great amenities is what you will find here along with a very friendly staff. (2) We live in the age of WIFI technology and there is nothing to stop any RV Park across this country from investing in doing WIFI properly. This park receives 5-stars for their great WIFI. (3) Level pads, big coaches need paved or thick gravel pads that are level. We give this park a 5-star rating in this category. (4) Maneuverability, some parks have very narrow roads which make backing up and turning very difficult, we found this park to have plenty of room to maneuver. (5) Satellite, as you know satellite reception is very hard to receive when you have large trees. If you stay away from the sites with the tall trees to the south you will receive reception. (6) Phone Service, we have AT&T which worked great here. (7) Dog play and potty, plenty of room to walk your dog here, there is even a fenced dog run. The Bad.. We had a pull-thru site but could not attach our tow car until after we pulled out. Our site was very long, but there wasn't enough room to pull out of our site without having to back up. Maneuverability with a smaller coach and tow car might be possible. Dust, this place is very dusty compared to many other parks, no grass front here.

We stayed 2 nights. Staff was helpful and park was pretty nice. We didn't use the restroom facilities. We had plenty of space around our site. Pet friendly. We would stay here again.

Just one comment about this one, after setting up the sewer, and there is an awful smell in the rv, go out and shut the black water valve off. It is not your rv it is the parks. UGH!!!!!!!!

Stayed at this RV park on our way to Monument Valley. It is a very quaint RV park. The sites are mostly level, the restrooms clean and the WIFI good. There is a dog park area that could use a little TLC, however, all in all it met my dogs needs. The owner of this park was very friendly and helpful. We had booked a three night reservation, however with very little notice we had to cancel two of our nights reservations. We were given a full refund without question. I would stay at Moore's again... Read More

We stayed 3 nights passing through the area to visit the nearby National Park Service sites. The park is located in what appears to be a residential area requiring travel along a narrow 2 lane paved road that has seen better days. The park has the appearance of being a former KOA. We stayed 3 nights passing through the area to visit the nearby National Park Service sites. The park is located in what appears to be a residential area requiring travel along a narrow 2 lane paved road that has seen better days. The park has the appearance of being a former KOA. It was very primitive showing not much care or attention to the appearance. The park was very disappointing but there isn't much to choose from in the area. The entrance to the registration parking and interior roads are narrow with tight turns. The interior roads and site parking pads are compacted gravel. There are a mixture of pull throughs and back in sites. Some of the P/T's were not easy to get into due the angle from the roads. P/T's were not long enough to remain connected to the toad but were wide enough to park 2 vehicles abreast if needed. As the park was built on sloping field, it showed the park didn't completely understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as some of the sites had a slight 2 directional pitch potentially creating a leveling problem. In the first site we were assigned (#39), the pitch was so great we couldn't get level. Had to move to a different site. Later, saw someone else struggling to get level in #39. Distance establishes privacy between the sites but the sites were generally close. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were generally at the middle of the site. The sewer connect was slightly elevated but it wasn't too difficult to establish a downhill flow. There was an outside table and fire pits at the sites but the environment didn't encourage sitting outside. It appeared most of the residents were long term. While the "resort" rules required that "all of the occupied sites appear neat and clean" it was clearly obvious that "neat and clean" was subject to interpretation. There seem to be the usual collection of material associated with the long term residents which could have been described as "junk" as seen in other parks. Significant amount of trees scattered around the park so satellite reception was dependent on site assignment. The park information showed 51 cable channels but didn't mention any broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided free WiFi was through Tengointernert so didn't try it as it required to register an account. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception. The park is NOT PET FRIENDLY. The designated fenced pet area had tall grass and hidden surprises from owners who didn't pick up after their pets. There was adequate space along the park's road to exercise a dog. There was a waste collection station in the pet area but not around the park. Pool & hot tub were closed. For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. None of the structures in the park were identified as a severe weather shelter. We would not stay here again. TIP: Would say that this park is NOT "Big Rig" friendly after maneuvering a 41' diesel pushing Class A through it. Chose to disconnect the toad to get into and out of the park. Waited until getting out of the park to connect the toad.

This is an older park, and seems to be mostly full time residents. The park is an old KOA and in need of some TLC. It was fairly quite, with no road noise. The interior roads need to be grades and re-graveled as do the sites. The bushes and trees have not been kept up and need to be trimmed and pruned. It appears that only needed maintenance is being performed. We bought a bag of ice from the store and it seems to have been in the freezer for a very long time. It had picked up odor from candles... It had picked up odor from candles in the store. The laundry had 5 washers (2 out-of-order) and 3 dryers (1 out-of-order). The internet was good. With a very limited number of parks in the area, this is one to be considered, just don't expect too much.

As noted in another review, there are few RV parks in the 4 Corners area and this is an okay park for a short stay. It is an old property with many units where people seem to live full-time and some of those units are very old. We arrived with a reservation for site 23 that was made over the phone; however, there was already a unit on that site when we arrived. The young lady at the check in was very friendly and did everything she could do to help. She was not aware of another unit being on 23; she too thought it was empty, so someone came in or switched sites without the office's knowledge. The other available 30amp site (21) was very muddy, so she offered us #74 which is marked as a 50/30 site. As we set up our trailer, we saw that the power box had a 30amp plug, but only a 50amp breaker switch. Not wanting to fry our circuits, I went back to the office to inquire. The girl there wasn't sure and one friendly maintenance man wasn't sure. The maintenance man who they said was knowledgeable about the power boxes came back from an errand. He insisted that the box automatically switches down from 50 to 30amp, but there was no labeling. He continued to insist that we should just plug in and not worry about it, pushing our power cord back into my hands. He said the old trailer on site 75 was hooked into the 50amp source without problem and took me over there to show me. Yes, it was plugged in to 50amp, but using a 50-30 pigtail!! His tone changed as he went back to his truck to get a brand new 50-30 pigtail that he had just purchased for another site and gave it to us to use. Bottom line: (1) the reservation snafu was blamed on someone who didn't work there anymore, because she repeatedly overbooked sites. The reservation is entered in their computer reservation system (ours was there), but the former employee didn't handwrite the card they keep on their wall board for tracking. The reservation system should not allow a site to be booked more than once for the same time period. Relying on a handwritten card is a flawed reservation system. (2) Does that 50/30 power box on #74 really automatically switch over? If it does and it's been thoroughly tested, the power box should be labeled as such so that others staying there will not have to go through the same stress that we did. (3) The cable TV and WIFI were great. (4) We only used the restrooms immediately on arrival after a long drive, but they were very clean. (5) If we're in the area again, we might consider staying again; but would be hesitant based on the reservation system flaws. A long review, but all truthful and hopefully helpful to other travelers.

We were headed to the Four Corners from Albuquerque and there isn't a lot of Park options in this area. I am very pleased we chose this place. The Good... - Nice little park! Well maintained. The young girl that works the check in was very pleasant. - Swimming pool. The park did an ice cream social for the kids at the pool. - Very nice restrooms. Clean and comfortable temperature! - Nice size laundry room. - Shade trees but very little grass. At the very back of the Park there is "PawPaws... Read More

Clean and comfortable temperature! - Nice size laundry room. - Shade trees but very little grass. At the very back of the Park there is "PawPaws Park", a small fenced in area with grass, trees and benches. Nice. - Just a short drive away is a city park with a newly done river walk which was nice. - Good WiFi signal. The Not so Good... - It's an older park so maneuvering my 32ft bumper pull was a bit of a challenge. But hey, I didn't put any dents in anything! Final Thoughts....Highly recommend if you are in the area.
