A beautiful RV Park. Maybe change of owners since last review. Staff very friendly. Level pull though site with full hook-ups. Beautiful view. Breakfast in the morning, very good, lots, and cheap. Nice gift shop. Would definitely stay here again.
I recently made reservations at that campground for September 12-14. I made the reservations a week in advance by phone and asked for one of the camps level pull through spaces. Space 1-7 are sufficient for the length of my 5th wheel. I was told that space #3 would be available and that they would hold it for my September 12th arrival. I provided my Master Card information and my card was charged for the reservation. I arrived on time and was told that the reserved space had been rented an hour... Read More

I arrived on time and was told that the reserved space had been rented an hour before my arrival. I was also told by the new owner that reservations did not matter and that he did not keep reservations. I was told that if I did not like that policy that I should just move on. My destination was Las Vegas, NM for a work. There are no other campgrounds available with that short notice. The only option that I had was to return the 200 miles to my office in Southern NM and then rent a motel in Las Vegas, NM. At this point I decided to return to my office. Even though it would cost an additional 400 miles and I would need to reschedule work.I asked for a refund and was denied. At that point I also became worried about my credit card information. I decided to stay on a hill side space. The employee and maintenance man were very kind and helpful, and the trailer was parked with one tire hanging 1/2 foot in the air. It was a difficult parking spot. I have been RV'ing for over 30 years.
In summary, this new owner does not honor reservations and does not honor credit card etiquette and refunds. He was also extremely rude and condescending.

Water pressure was very bad, rented a deluxe site and this was a dump. Swing was in weeds and sticker bushes, the picnic table was in bad shape with chunks of wood missing and paint was chipping off. There is no way Good Sam should have this as an 8.5 for all 3 categories.
We were in site 48. We were only staying one night, but we had to unhook the car so we could maneuver the RV enough to get level. We were here a few years ago. At that time we were in one of the sites in the front. Those sites, sites 1 through 7, are much more level. Our site was mostly dirt with some gravel in it. When it rained, the whole park was muddy. Needless to say, we were not happy and will probably not be back.
Easy on-off for I-25. The people are friendly, the park is basically dirt roads and fairly level gravel sites. The bathrooms are a bit old, but fairly clean, except for the showers, which were filthy. I know no one bothered to clean the shower floors while I was there. Bring your shower slippers.
The people here are very nice. There was a nice swing and table at our site. We enjoyed our stay here. The area has nice areas to walk. The view/scenery was absolutely beautiful. The cockleburs were annoying, but that was the only negative thing I could say about it.
Located off I-25 about 5 miles south of Las Vegas. Located on side of a hill so the sites are terraced, providing a good view of the landscape to the east. Most of the sites are pull-throughs. The roads are dirt and the pads are gravel. The roads are a little rough, but even the big rigs did not appear to have any problems. Facilities include gift shop, nice laundry, and pool. We did not use the restrooms/showers. They have a patio grill serving breakfast and dinner (good casual food). WIFI coverage... Read More

Both the Pecos National Historical Park and the Fort Union National Monument are about 30 miles away and highly recommended. Would return.

The people here are very nice. Some sites are fairly level; others are very unlevel. There was a nice swing, a table, and a fire pit at our site. We were told at check-in that we wouldn't need to use our water regulator because the water is gravity fed. We didn't realize that meant the water pressure would be very low. Laundry was very clean and has 4 washers & 4 dryers ($2 each). We enjoyed our stay here. The only problem we encountered was the cockleburrs that clung to our shoes.
