Very nice park. Close to downtown Santa Fe and interstate access. Nice staff, helpful and friendly. Nice dog park which was lit after dark. One drawback was the sites were close with side-by-side utilities. Site was level. Didn't use restroom facilities so can't rate them. Would stay here again if in the area.
A decent KOA. Sites are a bit close.
This RV park deserves 5 stars - almost. It's clean, the staff is friendly, it's conveniently located to Santa Fe (only about 10 miles south, with easy freeway access), quiet (except minor freeway traffic noise), pet-friendly, and is in a beautiful setting. Overall, a very nice place, with one major exception --- there's a large (about 1/2 acre) open cesspool in the lot immediately south. When the breeze blows from the south the entire park smells like a sewer. Fortunately the breeze doesn't... Read More

Overall, a very nice place, with one major exception --- there's a large (about 1/2 acre) open cesspool in the lot immediately south. When the breeze blows from the south the entire park smells like a sewer. Fortunately the breeze doesn't consistently blow from this direction, but when it does you'll know it. Some of the tent spots are located about 15 feet from this cesspool, separated only by a cedar picket fence. (It was a bit disconcerting to see this, and I wasn't even in a tent.) Most of the tent sites are on the south side of the park, so if you're a tent camper you might want to look a bit further for a different park. Fortunately I was in an RV spot a little further away, but the stench was still a bit overwhelming at times. Open cesspools are not uncommon in Santa Fe County and other parts of NM due to the poor economic conditions, and there' probably not much that this KOA can do about the situation, but I'd have to recommend to my fellow campers that you check the prevailing wind conditions before you book your spot here. Hope this helps. Happy camping!
