We stayed in the B section. Were suppose to have full hook up but did not have sewer hook up. They only offered a pump out 2 times a week. Smelled of sewage almost 24/7. Very small sites, not enough room to set up screened room. Moved to a differant site a little more room but the breaker kept popping. The only thing that they did right was to refund our money. I can only guess that Good Sam has never visted this park. There ratings are usually correct.

Stayed Columbus Day weekend in our 30' class A with friends who have class C's. Sites were not level and only had water and electric. We were in a back wooded area that really wasn't suited for class A's. When I expressed concern over no sewer hookups, the guy who brought me to the site said it was no problem because they would come and pump you out. When we called the office Sunday for a pumpout, they told us "oh, we only do that for seasonals". Thanks for nothing. Not going back there.

The campground has the sites very tightly packed together. The staff also doesn't seem to really know what sites are available and which are not. We were assigned a site next to a permanently installed park model. They were using the site we were assigned as overflow space. We also learned that the water and electric on that site did not work. The good news is that we returned to the front desk and were immediately reassigned a different site that we had already chosen. The restrooms are clean,... Read More

The restrooms are clean, however have not been updated in a very long time. Also the showers are tiny stalls with no shelf or bench to hang or set anything. Most of the showers did not have anything you could set a bar of soap on either. Luckily there was a large counter around all the sinks. However it did make showering cumbersome. Most of the campground seemed to be full season renters so perhaps they don't care about the restrooms as much. Overall the entire campground reflected the fact that it is owned by a holding company, who aren't interested in improving the facilities. A nice thing is that they have both a family pool and an adult pool. They also have plenty of modern laundry facilities. The campground is very convenient to the sights we wanted to see, and the other campers were quite friendly.
