I chose this campground primarily for its central location to our destinations stayed only two nights. The review from a year ago is pretty much still accurate - no assistance finding our spot - which was tricky as there are many pot hole covered, narrow, gravel/dirt roads winding throughout this park. The dump station is located at the back which was not convenient. Many permanent campers and lots of "weekenders" however they were all quiet and respectful and we experienced no dog problems.... Good Sam should change the rating of this facility. I would rate it lower Than a 1 if possible. It is primarily a seasonal/permanent camp and the sites are very trashy. Their pet policy is marginal, as we were charged by numerous LARGE Shepard's and Rottweilers on "leashes" and not supervised. We checked in to a pull through site with NO direction from management. Hours later, we got a call that we need to pull forward another 20ft in our pull through site. This meant we had to break down our entire... Read More

The sites are not level, gravel and not clean. The sewer was a pipe in the ground covered by a brick. There is no cable and the WiFi worked about 20% of the time. Simple said, we will not be back and I would recommend you skip this place.

I don't normally review campgrounds but occasionally find it necessary. The Good: Pleasant surrounding. Large Pool. Fairly quiet. Pleasant and helpful staff at sign in. The Not So Good. The camp store has seen better days. Roads are gravel and very rough. Lots of pot holes. No interior road signs. Site marking signs are small and hard to see. Our site was mostly dirt and became very muddy after a rain. Some dead or dying trees around the site. Power box has seen better days as well. 30 amp receptacle... Read More

Our site was mostly dirt and became very muddy after a rain. Some dead or dying trees around the site. Power box has seen better days as well. 30 amp receptacle was cracked with plastic parts missing. Power was just barely 110 v. Concerned about running air conditioner. Water pressure was very low.
The sewer hook up was hard to find. It appeared to be actually in the site behind ours. Had to back camper to very end of site and even then two sewer extensions barely would reach.
There appeared to be lots of seasonal units that have not been used in quite a while. Some units are starting to look pretty rough.
Conclusion: The campground needs some major work. This facility seemed to be operating with minimal staff (two maybe). I suspect times are hard in the campground business these days. We seem to be seeing fewer campers out on the roads these days.
This campground was probably a much nicer place about 20 years ago. It could be made really nice again.

Too many seasonal sites too much clutter in seasonal sites. Very poor roads. Good Sam should re-evaluate the ratings. We will not return.
