The best campground on Long Island. The only thing between the campsites and the Atlantic are some dunes... You must use Reserve America and plan ahead 9 months to date you wish to reserve. RV awnings must be closed during storms as the winds will tear them off. If you love sun, surf fishing, sand and the ocean this is for you...If you are looking for a tourist trap, then find a room in the "Hamptons".... There is a camp store that sells excellent coffee and ice, etc. A bit pricey... Town is a car ride away... There are walking trails and kids and adults can ride bikes through the park during the day. Bonfires only allowed off season and you must supply your own ring. Star gazing at night is pretty great...
