We stayed here for one night in late March 2020 to test out a new trailer the night after we bought it. Water hook-ups were not available at site due to winter season, but water was available in campground. Owner met us outside office upon our late evening arrival. Site is on Genesee River valley bottom and is flat as a pancake, so leveling and set up was easy. We didn't use the store or amenities, but took a hike to the river shore, about half a mile from our site. There is a nice driving range,... Read More

It wasn't open in March. There was sewer hookup, 50, 30 and 15 amp service at our site, and spigot for water which was shut off for the winter. The grounds are open and flat without many trees, but each site is fairly well separated from neighbors. Overall a nice looking spot. Also of note is that the site is known for bringing in fairly big name acts for concerts. Charlie Daniels Band and 38 Special are planned for 2020. While it was quiet while we were there, it prob is NOT quiet on those weekends!

We stayed at Trout Run for 2 weeks in August 2017. The owners are very nice and worked with us to get us a very satellite friendly site that we could pull our dolly and toad through. The camp has a nice salt water pool, laundry (a few units need to be replaced) and a camp store, in addition to a driving range and access to the Genesee River for fishing or kayaking. Some of the sites have utility hookups on the wrong side, but they are workable. My understanding is that the camp used to be a trailer... Read More

The owner is working hard to make changes and it is a nice quiet spot for enjoying what the Southern Tier of N.Y. has to offer. There is internet and cellular (We have AT&T and had good signal) as well.
Overall, it is a great location and one we will return to as full timers.

Exactly what we look for as fulltimers. Large, mostly level sites. Full hook ups with 50 amp power at all sites. Clean laundry, clean restrooms. Friendly, helpful staff. The owner takes a lot of pride in this campground and it shows. Pool is new and it appeared that others were enjoying it. First campground we have stayed at that has a driving range. We really enjoyed our stay here and will return when we are next in the area.
