This was our second time staying at Tanglewood. The RV spaces are very nice. We however read many reviews that clearly state that about half of the sites need major leveling. We stayed on site 9 and had about an adjustment of 4 degrees. The roads are all blacktop and concrete which kept the RV clean. There is a park with a top notch swim center that cost extra. Our son road his bike all over as the paths are paved. The park attached is 1,100 acres with two playgrounds. The trees and wildlife... Read More

The bathhouse has hot water and good water pressure. The building is a simple concrete structure but it is kept very clean. There are no tents or fires allowed but I do not think it took away from the experience. We will be back and recommend this to anyone with a RV.

We were surprised at how pretty this county owned RV park is. We were lucky to get a space for the last Saturday in April because there was a cancellation. The Tanglewood park in which the RV spaces are located is huge with lots of woods, bike and walking paths, an arboreatum, horses, etc. While the bathrooms were basic, painted concrete block, they were kept very clean. The RV spaces are quite wide and well spaced under huge old trees which were trimmed so there are no low branches. The only... Read More

The only issue is that some of the spaces slope down quite a bit, so leveling your RV is mandatory. The people managing the RV section were extremely nice and accommodating. We had planned on staying only overnight, but were able to stay Sunday night as well and ride bikes and visit the arboretum. We will use is park again whenever we are going this way.
