Moved here in November with the intentions of staying long term. Which we told to 2 different employees. One when we made the reservation and another one just days before our arrival when she called to ask us how long we would be staying. In January we were told the rate for our cramped site was going up to $850 a month. And in 2 months we would have to pay the daily rate which comes to $1350. We would not moved here if we had been given the correct information. But I am pretty sure that we weren't... Read More

We would not moved here if we had been given the correct information. But I am pretty sure that we weren't told that it wasn't a long term campground because they had a lot of empty spots in November. I think they neglected to tell us so they could fill a spot and make money. Or else all of the staff is incompetent. If you plan on staying be aware that they charge 17 cents kwh. You will be paying a lot for electricity. The noise from the interstate is constant and loud. The dryers are kind of ineffective. People come from outside the campground and use the dumpsters so at times it is overflowing. The manager is snippy and rude sometimes when you go to get the mail. One day you can come in and get it and then next day you are reprimanded for opening the door. Which has a sign that says to come on in. Best to find somewhere else to stay. Unless tight quarters, rudeness and noise are your thing.

This RV park was the most convenient to our son's place. Listed as a KOA, we presumed it was up to the standards required. Our site was not level & very tight. When exiting our RV, we were greeted with tree roots. Sparse grass made the site muddy. We placed a mat on the ground, however, it was so bumpy, it was dangerous. Fire ring was some rocks (not even a circle) with weeds in the center. The grass that was there had gone to seed - not mowed. Noise level was high due to I-85. We paid... Read More

We paid a premium price ($60 plus), for a poor site. Do not recommend.

Campground was well laid out and the restrooms were clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful, laundry room was clean and machines worked well. Air TV has plenty of channels and overall, we were very comfortable. Accessed Greensboro with Uber and that worked very well instead of driving our 26' motorhome in. Traffic noise was a bit loud, but not enough to be concerned about. Only suggestion would be to check site levels as ours needed some adjustment. Also, while each site had a fire ring,... Read More

Also, while each site had a fire ring, they were much too close to your neighbor, especially if the smoke is blowing the wrong way. This is a good, clean campground in central Greensboro and we would stay again if we were going through the area.

Camped in a 27 ft. Class C with one slide out. Was placed at site 24. Pros: Great Staff. Knowledgeable about local area. Very nice enclosed dog park. Although rainy, little mud. Cons: Some sort of gun range (or back yard shooting) nearby. Close to highway so a lot of truck noise. Wifi could not be accessed. Acorns popping and hitting top of RV. continuously. Overview: One night would be great, definitely only a stop over. Oh and about the acorns, if I read that in a review I would think how trivial,... Read More

Only stayed one night, but the park was very nice, the staff friendly. I did not use the facilities. But being a full time RVer, I always check out what is provided. The restrooms are nice along with the pool and playground. They are making improvements and ask for your input. Nice place I would stay again.
Older campground. Aspiring to be a KOA again, but needs renovation to meet that goal. Owner and staff very nice and helpful. Sites 77-89 very difficult to level a Motorhome (I don't like my front wheels off the ground.), but may be easier with trailer or fifth wheel. Sad part is these site are in the open and satellite reception is not a problem. We've stayed here often since 1985 and will again.
Stayed a week to visit family... The RV was hit by Acorns the first couple nights they did move us after we came back from repair on our RV. The sites are literally on top of each other..We were right off the highway but there was more noise from ppl in the park... Bathrooms need attention.. One night an RV came in after 11pm... Good for a couple nights but I think the next time we come in we will probably stay else ware...
The staff was very friendly and the park looked nice when we pulled in, but we realized that we were overlooking the highway. It was very loud. Easy to get to but made us realize that maybe driving some distance would be better.
This park is great if you are visiting Greensboro, or surrounding area. I stay there everytime I am in the area and enjoy the proximity to what I need. The upper sites are slopped forward which can be a challenge for Motorhomes, but GREAT for TT's and 5th wheels. the staff is very helpful, and flexible.
Great overnight spaces that are fairly level with easy on/off from Interstate. The back of the park has several unsightly permanent RV's which distracts from the beauty of the rest of the campground. This is a upgraded previous KOA park. Friendly owners will meet you and take you to your site.
