Went with a group for a short weekend. One-if you are in a large camper, you are literally on top of one another...not to mention you can't get out. We got a "pond" front site. The overall campground is okay, don't expect anything fancy, super clean, or we'll run. The man guiding us in with a golf cart was hammered and too busy hanging out with young girls. Getting to the site is super narrow and tight. Lots of permanent sites (think cars on Jack's and run down), trash was completely overflowing... Read More

Office never opened on time, always 30-60 mins late. Older kids constantly running through and cussing etc..playground was run down, lots of broken things, store was dollar tree items. Paying for min golf etc. Overall not a place I cared for but we had fun with our group. Definitely not like the pics show.

They honored our Good Sam discount. The person who checked us in was very friendly. The pool looked really nice and there were a lot of things for kids to do. But... the access roads through the campground were in poor condition (ruts, pot holes, washed out/broken asphalt). Lots of permanent campers in prime camping spots, many were neglected and junky. Ice machine was broken so we had to go to the store up the road for ice. Several trips to the office/store with no one there. WiFi never... Read More

Nice in general. Honored the Good Sam discount. Spot was not level at all. Wifi was pretty poor (2 bands). Pool was nice but no shade. Lake was pretty but only caught one small blue gill between four people. Bathrooms were a seven (women's was an 8 and men's was a six). Showers were small and 2 of 3 had issues (water pressure on one and missing tile on the other. One of three sinks worked. Only urinal was broken. Stalls in men's had NO latches. Very nice campground! We stayed site 24 while family stayed at site 23. They are both facing the pond. Each site has a deck area with a picnic table next to a fire pit, but it is across the road from the campsite. Each site has a significant slope from left side to right side. Site 23 took three leveling pads under the right side of the camper to get a level, site 24 took two. Front to back is fairly level. They are full hookup sites with cable. Overall, the campground is nice, the pool and facilities... Read More

We loved it! Facilities clean our campsite was great, across from fishing pond , the campsites are nicely spaced apart! Staff very nice! We had a great time will definitely go back. If I had anything negative , it would be that putt putt too expensive $3.00 a person , we passes on that but over all very nice campground!

Stayed here for the Maiden voyage of our new toy hauler. The facilities were great. Very friendly staff and plenty of activities. Did not use the restroom, so I could not rate them.

Photos online must be from when all was new, found many safety hazards with the buildings, ranging from electrical, heating and ceiling coming down, nails and blots that stick out one could catch skin on. Play ground equipment not secured and tipping over and rough interior roads, packed in tight.

We stayed one night and that was enough! Steep road into park. Very hard to get in and out of. Reserved and paid for a pull thru deluxe patio site with fire pit and chairs that was suppose to have patio pavers. We did not get that. The site we were given was not a pull thru, had gravel and mud and a rickety picnic table and metal firepit that was rusted out. We had to unhook our car since it was a small non pull-thru site. The place is a dump, will never stay here again! The pictures on the website... Read More

I do not understand how this campground can be rated this high. There deep width length gullies running across the campsite I was assigned deep enough that I was afraid that I would drag the bottom of my Sprinter driving across. Site was not level. There are numerous permanent campers here with clutter all around their site. If I could give this lower that one star I would. Good Sam needs some method of validating these reviews. I would not stay here again, would find a Walmart parking lot.

We stay just passing through each way, nice pool. Very friendly, some of road is liitle steep. I think it was well water.

TRAILER PARK ... 2/3 of the sites are occupied by permanently parked trailers. Many tethered dogs that bark. Noisy mornings with the campers leaving for work. Do not expect to sleep-in. Neighboring dairy farm makes sitting outside an unpleasant experience. Rain brings water filled mud puddles. Can not evaluate laundry and bathrooms conditions as we have our own. Swimming pool was closed as it was February.

Pictures need to be updated. Was quiet, people were nice, however long terms stays need to clean up a little around their units. Bathrooms look like they have been updated but have a mold smell to them. Laundry room was awful. Overall Good Sam rating needs to be updated, this is a 7 at best not a 9.5.

Stayed here for just one night as a test run for our new travel trailer. Reserved a 30/50A site, which they had for us. Our site (#12) was fairly level, but many were not. The campground roads are also very rough in spots, glad we were near the front middle. Our site had good stable power, cable tv worked well too. Water pressure was a little weak, but not horrible. The sewer hook up at our site was nearly at the same level as our trailer, so getting a downhill flow was problematic. Our site was... Read More

Our site was one with a patio with a table & chairs, but the pavers certainly need some attention. The staff was cordial, and refunded me the 10% Good Sam discount not applied during the online reservation process (the discount for being a member is not available on their web site). There was a small camp store, with a variety of items & a rather nice pool area which we didn't use. Overall if you're just staying a night passing through the area, it's more than adequate. The campground sites in general could use some TLC, but the sites infrastructure seem to be solid.

Well this is another one of those sites where the pictures don't match the reality of the place. We stayed here for one night' the roads are almost unpassable even with our small 28 ft trailer' the site we had was #23 and it was so uneven we didn't even try to level out and the power pole had a short in it which if we didn't have a surge protector we might have been in trouble. i certainly wouldn't come here again.

My family and I had the pleasure of spending one night here while in town for a wedding. We had site 20, and there was a wonderful view of the lake and a patio complete with chairs and a table. We really wish that our schedule allowed us to stay longer. Everyone there was very nice, and they allowed us to park our TT there until we were ready to leave the area. With a 32' TT, I found the turn next to site 29 to be somewhat of a challenge and the road could use a little work, but we made it without... Read More

Overall it was a pleasant 2 night stay. Sites are VERY close together. Our site (14) was on a row of long term campers. It was level and shaded but very narrow so no room at all to spread out. The campground is older and dated but quiet and seemed well maintained for the most part. The roads throughout the campground could definitely use some fresh gravel. As well, the gravel at our site was sparse and there were some muddy spots to maneuver around. There are plenty of fun amenities for the kids.... Read More

We used the pool (nice & big), jumping pillow, game room, fishing pond, playground and basketball court. The reasons I did not give 4 stars were because of how incredibly close we were to the next camper, how cramped our site was and the condition of the roads.

This was a nice looking campground, but we reserved a pull-through site for our 40' motorhome w/toad. The ground was so un-level that our car 's front wheels were practically off the ground, due to the extreme incline. We had a tough time disconnecting it (there was no way we would leave it like that overnight). We feel that the parker should have suggested, at a minimum, that we disconnect before he guided us up the incline. Also, because we could not "level", despite using levelers, we could... Read More

Not what I expected. This was our very first camping trip. We chose Midway because it was close to our home. We reserved a full hook-up, pull thru site. The staff was very friendly and showed us to our spot and even helped us get pulled in correctly. We had beautiful site by the lake with a concrete patio and table/chairs and fire pit. We did not use any of the amenities. The wifi signal was a little slow. Otherwise a great first start to our RV camping life!

The only sites not on top of each other are the lower sites along the pond but these sites share their front picnic area with the road. We had campers on every side of us and as close as 12 feet. The roads are so damaged by the storm water run off it is not safe to travel with a larger trailer or a vehicle you like to use again. Great people and nice but they need to put some money in the place to update the run off, roads, larger and updated game room, electrical system and dead tree removal.
