Stayed one night in Class A with toad. Spaces were a little tight, gravel, dusty, not so level. Minimal grass between sites mostly dead. Heavily treed so nice shade. Did not use the facilities or attend the Medora Musical. Did get fuel at the only local gas station, and it was made very clear the staff there couldn't care less about you.

Perfectly fine campground. Spaces were a bit dusty and packed. Friendly check-in, and good service. Just outside of town - its very close to the national park and a short drive up to the Medora Musical and dinner. We stayed one night, and got great views of the hills and night sky.

Except the location next to the quaint tourist town of Medora and the lack of choices, we probably would not recommend this place. The park is pretty rustic, dusty and ill kept. Paid extra for a shady site. Level, gravel sites, close together. Off season so nearest restroom was closed. Single showers were mildewed and needed a good cleaning. After Labor Day 9/10 the town shuts down and the park closes.
