This was a wonderful park. Although quite a drive from the highway, all sites were level asphalt. Some sites were FHU. Others were electric only. Huge park with golf, lodge, restaurant. Marina rents boats.

Salt Fork State Park surrounds a small reservoir. The campground is several miles from the park entrance. There are five different loops within the campground section of the park. We were in campground loop "A" which is situated on a heavily wooded ridge overlooking the water. The campground has essentially level paved back in sites with electric hookups. Some of the shorter spaces have paving wide enough for either a toad or a tow vehicle. There are several water fountains with spigots to... Read More

There are several water fountains with spigots to fill water containers - no hose fittings so you cannot fill RV tanks with a hose from them. A bath house in the center of the camp has flush toilets but no showers. The showers are located in a shower house at the entrance to the loop. Some of the other loops in the campground have full hookups. The campground section has its own boat launch area and swimming beach. There are two dump stations at the entrance to the campground road that also have potable water filling spigots. There is a small camp store in the campground office. The staff were friendly.
