Oklahoma City East KOA Holiday is our 132nd stop and we stayed for 8 nights. About a mile north of I-40, you get the convenience without road noise. Desk staff were pleasant and provided me the relevant information and guided me to the site. Booked one of the patio sites which was nice and the long gravel pad was generally level (easily fit our 39 ft. rig and tow). The 5 main interior roads for the pull throughs were paved which was nice and there are mature shade trees around the park. The laundry... Read More

The laundry room featured 8 washers and dryers, was reasonably priced and clean. The dog park was nearly an acre and filled with trees. A nice KOA and would rate a 4.4 and would stay here again. And the park WiFi was quite good in comparison to many other parks we have visited.Connectivity (1 pm): Park WiFi (5G) 44.0 down/17.0 up (2G) 15.2 down/6.34 up; Verizon 71.8 down/14.2 up; T-Mobile 6.85 down/0.63 up.

The place might be OK in other areas, but we got the last available spot in the park. It was a short, dirty and un-level dirt (no gravel there) site right next to the bathrooms. If we hadn't had a less than 25 ft RV, we never could have backed into the site. For as unappealing as it was, they still charged the full exorbitant premium rate. We'll scratch this one off of our list.
nice KOA with a rural feel. The KOA is just 15 minutes from downtown, but it feels like you are much further away due to the large trees around and surrounding the park and since it is so quiet. The park is a mix of back in and pull through sites. All of the sites are gravel and some of the roads are also gravel. We had a pull through site that we just big enough for us if we parked our car parallel to the road in front of our rig. The park has the standard amenities of a small pool, bathroom and... Read More

The park has the standard amenities of a small pool, bathroom and shower building with laundry facilities. They have wifi what works well enough to check email, but it slows down significantly during the morning and evenings. This park is lighter on amenities than what we typically see at other KOAs, but the price was very reasonable. Pictures at our blog thegilliamsisland.

We stopped here over night when traveling on I 40. There is easy access from I 40. The campground has a lot to offer and appears to be expanding the number of camp sites. We had a pull thru patio site. We enjoyed the grill and eating at the picnic table. There was an older gentleman who was a lot of fun and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Road construction made it a little difficult to get into but that wasn't the fault of the park. Particular site we were on make it difficult to level our 34' 5th wheel. Would stay here again.
This was our second stop at this KOA and it was a big improvement over our last stop. We were very lucky to get a spot because the NCAA Wome's Softball Tournament was being held in OKC. Our pull- through site was roomy and level and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere amongst the trees.
This was an overnight stop for us on the way home. They have some very nice deluxe sites and it looks like they are building more. Our site was close to the bark park as we requested but it was disappointing. There was hardly any grass and it was mostly red, clay dirt. It had rained very hard there for a few days before we arrived and the whole area was very wet and muddy. The check-in staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The laundry was a little pricey ($2.00 per load in washer and another $2.00 for the dryer).
The showers were nice and private with good water pressure.
The pool looked nice but it was rainy so we didn't swim.
The best thing about this campground is that there are lots of trees so it would be well shaded in the hot summer.
