Lots of work going on at this site as it is under new ownership. not sure about the 22 pull thru's as I could only find 4 on the map. Ours was a back-out because of the trees blocking the exit. It is well treed and quiet with the river mere steps away. roads are narrow for bigger rigs and quite lumpy from tree roots. wi-fi is still a hotspot at the office so unreachable for most sites. With that said it is a nice place that is quiet and well shaded. would stay again.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a honest review. Some of our pull thrus are in the grass field at other end of park. Not typical pull thrus but they can be driven straight thru. We are updating our map and will confirm the actual numbers with Good Sam. Thank you for bringing that to our attention. We like to call those roots in the road natural speed bumps to slow people down and that is why that section of the road hasn't been fixed. Our WiFi reaches further this year as we are trying... Our WiFi reaches further this year as we are trying something new. We still call it a hotspot as we realize it only reaches 1/4 of our 12 acres. We are working on future WiFi improvements.
Happy camping and hope to see you again somewhere down the road.

Beautiful, well maintained facility on the banks of the Mattawa River just above the confluence with the Ottawa River. Restricted Access Park offers playground equipment, room for kids to roam, a short float trip on the river or access to swim at 2 beach areas. Canoes are available to rent. Access to the extensive ORV trails in the area make this a destination campground. Internet is currently cellular based. The park is in the process of upgrading campground WiFi from just the office area. T-Mobile... Read More

Rental Cabins are available and a limited number of seasonal sites. Our (and our friends) experience was enhanced with the exceptionally friendly and inclusive seasonal community. The campsites are all dirt/grass and spread apart for a modicum of privacy not offered at most all paved parks, the roadways are full of speed bumps created by the large trees throughout the grounds and the facilities, while dated, are well maintained and kept clean. We will definitely be visiting this park again.

Friendly, a bit pricey for what you get. Mattawa is nice to visit. See their carved statues!
Thank you for taking the time to leave an honest review. In the three years of ownership we have not raised our prices and sites vary from $30-$47 currently. May we ask how we could improve in your eyes? Since you left this review we have made many improvements. Hopefully if you stay with us again you will feel like you got more for your money.
