I stayed at this park several times as it was a good stopping point instead of making it a long driving day, but after the first time I visited the Park, we started to spend multiple days here because we liked it so much. Now we take three or four days to hang around and drive to nearby wineries. I will be there again next week and am looking forward to it! When my friends ask "Why Boardman?" I ask if they have ever camped on a golf course. With all of the grass and open space, uncrowded spaces... Read More

There is a restaurant and a boat launching, swimming, lagoon nearby. Another favorite is the river traffic that goes by the area. I love this place so much, I hate telling you about it but we all have to share,,,,don't we?

What a great park. Very open with large sites and close to level areas. Great shade and well maintained lawns and facilities. I really liked being able to launch my boat and then to dock it at the transition dock the nights my rigged was parked and set up on the pad. This made it very convenient vs having to launch and retrieve my boat each day. If you are boating, pay attention to your depth charts and navigation aids (once outside the channel your depth goes to almost nothing regardless of... Read More

This is a city park with easy access in and nice wide paved roads inside the park. The sites are very wide and most of them like ours are back-ins. We were in site 38, with full hook-ups and a picnic table. No issues with the hookups. The site had shade trees and was very private. There is a paved walking/biking path that runs through the park. You have access to the river and a number of beaches. Perfect for dog walks. Our only complaint is that the water sprinklers run from 8:00 am -10:00 am... Read More

Our only complaint is that the water sprinklers run from 8:00 am -10:00 am right on the site and some of the other sites from 10:00am -noon. This happens two day a week, and makes it impossible to use your site during this time. Being early risers we saw the sprinklers in the wide open areas running at 6:30am - seems this could be switched around. It is very quiet except for the occasional train - but almost no horn noise. We stayed August 22 - 25, 2017 and paid $25.72 a night.

Well maintained park. Lots of grass and shade trees. Full hookups and wifi worked great, even at the furthest sites from the signal. Don't select site 42 unless you like lots of sun. Also, expect high winds on occasion. Overall, a great place to camp.
We booked a stay at this campground on our return from Glacier National Park. It is just off the highway across a causeway and is on the water. We had a wonderful spot under shady trees with picnic table and fire ring. Easy access on multiple loops so you don't feel like you are in a large camp. There is a wonderful walking path that loops around the campground with water views and we could watch the boats and fishermen from our RV. The only down side is that it is not close to town so if you... Read More

We totally enjoyed it and if we'd had more time we would have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Great park on the river. Spaces are spreader apart more than most parks. Grass is everywhere with lots of trees. Trails along river and elsewhere. Restrooms are dated and need some TLC. could be cleaned more often. Very nice.
This is a beautiful park on the shore of the Columbia River. The grounds are well manicured with shade and green grass. Views of the river are exceptional. The sites are all back-ins with some big enough for big rigs. FHU's at site with pretty decent WiFi. There is a marina, boat ramp, dump station and playground. There is a little road and train noise but not bad at all. A very nice, quiet park to relax and enjoy the view.
This is located on the banks of the beautiful Columbia River in the small city of Boardman, OR. The lawns are well kept. The area is clean. There is a lot of room between the spaces. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a paved hiking trail along the river. The only negative is the Union Pacific railroad going by. It is not real loud - usually don't hear it in you trailer. We have stayed here several times and will again.
Camping along the shore of the Columbia River provides amazing vistas and sunsets. Fishing opportunities right off the banks. Campground is vast, spacious with green, well-maintained grassy campsites ... at least 50 feet between campsites. Lots and lots of mature shade trees. Good overflow parking for extra vehicles/boats. Safe children's play area. Walking opportunities within the campground as well as trails paralleling the Columbia River. Gets hot in the summer months.
Wonderful place to stop. I wasn't in a river-side spot, but had a very nice quiet spot anyway. Appreciated the privacy.
