Very displeased with the CRR RV Park management and staff in their failure to resolve my repeated noise complaints during a recent stay. Briefly, we voiced a complaint directly with the office staff after our neighbors drank and partied until after 1 a.m. the first night. We were told they would address it with the offending party. Then it happened again the second night. Same story, loud talking, singing and swearing until after 1 a.m. Reported it to the office staff the following morning. Was... Read More

Was told again they would address it with the offending party. Was told that they would evict the offenders if they had to. This is when we learned that the offending party was part of a large family-reunion group that came to the park every year. Then it happened again the third night. This time I went to the Camp Host at 10:15 p.m. just after quite hours took effect. Had to get them out of bed. Turns out the host is one of the office staff that was well aware of our previous two complaints. She indicated she would send her husband down to talk to them. I don’t think the husband ever actually went although the wife swears he did. The end result was….nothing. The noisy neighbors never quieted down, not even for a minute until after 1 a.m.
The following morning I voiced my displeasure again with the park manager. I heard some really bizarre things from her. First, she seemed to justify their failure to resolve the issue by stating “some people just won’t listen.” Next, she told me that they “had never” had noise problems with guests before – then she went on to tell me about two previous incidents. Finally, she actually said that she was going to have to get guidance from the CRR Board of Directors on how to handle such complaints in the future because she didn’t know what she, as the park manager, could do about it. Ridiculous! And saving the best for last, you should have seen the thousand-mile stare I got when I pointed out to the manager and camp host/office staff how absurd it was that the camp host, who knew of the previous two nights complaints, failed to take any proactive action the third night by doing a drive-by at 10:00 p.m. to check compliance, instead of going to bed and hoping I didn’t come knocking on her door.
My thoughts. One, the park manager, office staff and camp hosts are incompetent. I refuse to believe that CRR Board of Directors need to be consulted to resolve noise complaints. Two, I believe a conscious decision was made not to rock-the-boat with the large family-reunion group that returns every year over a solo guest that may never visit again. Further along that line, I believe a conscious decision was made to do nothing because they knew the offending party was only scheduled to be in the park three nights, so the problem would eventually resolve itself if they just gave me lip-service.
Anyone that has ever experienced rude, loud inconsiderate neighbors whether it be in a hotel, campsite, or elsewhere knows how infuriating it is and how one sleepless night, much less three, disrupts one’s entire routine.
I had to request a partial $$ credit as none was offered. I asked for three nights credit...you know, based on three sleepless nights. Park manger offered one…based on who knows what. It came as no surprise that she wanted to consult the BOD or the Ranch Manager for anything more. Guess her job description says nothing about taking care of the customer and doing what’s right. I got one.

I cannot understand that people in the past have rated this park so high. It is not appealing, the restrooms are Dixi ones and next to the reception is a "normal". The staff is rude and the campground map is not accurate. The dump station costs money, even for costumers it does. Really? I arrive 1 minute before closing time but the lady slammed the door close and locked it. Well, if the map had been correct and there would have been no charges for the dump station I would have been "ok" but to this... Read More

We just stayed one night heading south on 97. It's about 8 miles from 97 but in a quiet and nice area on the Crooked River canyon adjacent to a very nice country golf course. We did not play golf but enjoyed the scenery and serenity. There are no paved roads or RV pads inside the park so it can be a little dusty, The sites are ample size and seemed level enough, Lots of area for pet walking on a nice little trail system, We would stay here again if we had the time to make the side trip. This is no 9.5: basically parked in a gravel parking lot, no slab, no grass, no shade. Just a full hookup. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.
Fairly large RV park in Central Oregon near highway US 97. Well marked walking paths to the Crooked River Canyon. Didn't play golf, but a great looking course. Swimming pool, playground, lots of grass area, basketball court and horseshoe pits available also. A few trees between the campsites but for the most part very little shade in this mostly full hookup park. Called in the morning and got a reservation for that day. Showed up at 4:15 and the office closed at 4:00 and my reservation card was... Read More

Called in the morning and got a reservation for that day. Showed up at 4:15 and the office closed at 4:00 and my reservation card was not posted on the board outside of the office. Also no way to do a self serve campsite with the park about 1/2 full. The RV park manager showed up and got us into our campsite a few minutes later and stated the lady running the office that day forgot to put our reservation on the board. She was very nice and apologized several times. The trash cans and recycle bins were overflowing in all 4 loops of the campground. The groundskeeper though was maintaining the RV park very well with watered grass and no weeds or trash.

The site was spacious on level gravel. Restrooms were clean but a bit dated. The golf course was excellent. You do need to remind them that you are staying in the RV park to get the discount on the golf.
WOW! Coming off the plateau and driving down the canyon is the most beautiful site. Perfect golf course! It is so green and manicured I can't wait to go out. Space is very large, on gravel. This particular space has a weird sewer/water/ele hook up. Sewer on the backside, water and ele on the door side. It works. There is a huge pool here, snack shack and caf,. Bathrooms are very clean but need updating bad. They don't go with the cleanliness of the rest of the park. There are no resident... Read More

The view of the Crooked River is awesome. It is below us in yet another canyon. There a hiking trails everywhere.

We stayed in the D loop and it was just a gravel parking lot. The spaces were so squished together. We were practically on top our neighbors sewer hookup and on the other side our slide outs were basically inches away from the power plug. We kept our shades closed and didn't spend any time outdoors as there was a large group all around us and they had all the picnic tables and shade. The spaces in the D loop did not really have designated space or a picnic table. Many of the other spaces in other... Read More

The spaces in the D loop did not really have designated space or a picnic table. Many of the other spaces in other loops, the B loop for example, had nice grass spaces with a picnic table, as you'd expect. The lady in the office did agree the spaces were small and said they were designed so long ago before slide-outs, and she needed to assess what to do. They were very nice. The pool is a short walk away, but kids must be 14 to swim without an adult.

Friendly staff, well maintained, but this place is a parking lot. Sitting in the D section right now, my neighbors awning is almost touching my trailer, two drunk guys on the other side talking loudly try to figure out the outside shower.More privacy in a Walmart parking lot. This should have been a group site. Trailers are spaced maybe 7 feet apart. Nice place if they would remove about a third of the sites and space things out.
Nice friendly staff. Short drive from the main highway 97. Gravel camping areas but clean and tress are trimmed for big rigs. Beautiful view of crooked river a few steps from the campsites. Easy access getting in and out.
Breathtaking setting. Quiet and serene. Eastern Oregon scenery at its best. A little off the beaten path but well worth the drive. Will definitely come back.
Spaces were gravel, uneven and short. Not room to extend the slide if parking the truck in space. Restrooms were clean but showers needed upgrading. Location was great and was very quiet. Would seek another spot next time.
