We were travelling through Grants Pass on our way to San Diego and found Rogue Valley Overniters a very nice play to stop. It is an older location but you can tell the owners take care of the place well. The bathrooms have codes and the location felt very safe. It is by the road so there is road noise although it wasn't loud enough that we could hear it over our air conditioner. The owners are very friendly and the location is very convenient as it is close to a black bear diner and stores.... Read More

We have a 40-foot Class A rig and the entrance to this park is somewhat sketchy...you're driving down a major street with lots of traffic, and then there is a driveway. We missed it and took a right at the next street and came in through the back. Appeared to be many of long-termers here. We made it into the space OK, but we'd paid for a 50-amp pull through, but the breaker kept popping. I called the office, left a message and never heard back. We had to chose what electric appliances we used...not... Read More

We have stayed in over 450 RV Parks while traveling full-time in a 42-foot coach. This was our third visit here staying 30-nights. (1) Dust, some parks are so dusty that even after just a couple nights your unit needs a bath, but no dust here. The roads are paved. (2) Level pads, big coaches need paved or thick gravel pads that are level. At this park, the larger sized pull-thru spaces consist of gravel. We give this park a 5-star-rating for the thick and level pad. The smaller sites are spaced... Read More

(2) Level pads, big coaches need paved or thick gravel pads that are level. At this park, the larger sized pull-thru spaces consist of gravel. We give this park a 5-star-rating for the thick and level pad. The smaller sites are spaced around the outside ring of the park and these pads are concrete. This park has average space between each site. (3) We live in the age of WIFI technology and there is nothing to stop any RV Park across this country from investing in doing WIFI properly. For some users such as ourselves, WIFI is an important feature. Our site, which was located near the office, had a great wifi signal. However, we were told, other sites located further from the office, were not as fortunate. (4) Maneuverability, some parks have very narrow roads which make backing up and turning difficult, we found this park to have plenty of room to maneuver. (5) Satellite, as you know satellite reception is impossible to receive when there are large trees present. If you stay away from the sites with the tall trees to the south, you should receive reception here. (6) Phone Service, we have AT&T which worked great here. (7) Dog play and potty. This park has a small off-leash fenced dog area that is equipped with bags and waste basket. Sadly, the poop area is too small for the number of dogs that reside in the park. During a warm summer day, the urine smell is quite overwhelming. Apparently, the park staff is very aware of the problem because while we were there, they added an extra layer of gravel down, which helped.

Average RV Park. Level gravel sites with grass in between. Old and small. Nice staff. They advertise Cable but we were unable to make it work. Antenna gets 24 average TV channels. Very small chain link gravel area for dogs. Surrounded by big name fast food restaurants, and one home style diner. Message in the rest rooms warn everyone to "not be victims". The Park is not patrolled. A walk on the street showed 3 homeless folks within one block. Discounted cost with tax for a 40' Class A was $36.30/nite. Read More

Not really sure how they got a 9+ rating?? Mold on bathroom walls and showers ugh got the heck out of there. The site was very narrow. Water pressure poor could not run water thru toilet. Electricity was good.,wifi was good. Advertised as free cable But had to get special device to attach to the cable hookup and then rewire inside with the tv ..no thanks..used our antenna ..channels came in good.lots of older shade trees. Dog areas could use grass instead of dirt..picture does not designate what... Read More

The best things about this park are its location and friendly staff. The park is easy to reach from the freeway and is just down the street from a very well organized service oriented visitors center. The location is also just minutes from the enjoyable downtown as well as the Rogue River. The sites themselves are narrow with gravel pads. Restrooms are adequate with no additional amenities.

Rogue Valley Overniters, Grants Pass OR. We selected this RV park for the location. Grants Pass is equidistant from Crater Lake to the northeast and Redwood National Forest to the south and west. Thus this park fit our needs. While the staff was very friendly and the laundry and bathrooms were adequate, these were the only amenities. With no pool or playgrounds, it truly was just a place to rest our heads. The proximity to all the area has to offer outweighed the limited services of the park.

We were in the park for one night in a level pull through with ample space. Access from Interstate was easy, as was the return. Full hook ups worked well, although the sewer connection was quite far forward of the other utilities, but reachable with an extension line. When we first attempted to connect to the wifi, it was very sporadic with Internet access. Later in the evening it worked fairly well. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Thank you so much for your nice comment. We hope to see you again soon. The Management at Rogur Valley Overniters

The park was a nice place however the owners/staff were unnecessarily rude. As we were preparing to leave we had our children take our three leashed dogs for a walk. The owners stopped them and accused them of trespassing. This park is not pet or kid friendly. I don't feel that this park meets good sams standards because of the poor customer service. Very dissapointed. We will not be staying here again.

I am so sorry your stay was not what your were hoping for. I want to assure you that we are a dog and child friendly park. I hope that you will give us another try as we do care about your experience. Thank you, The Management at Rogue Valley Overniters
