We stayed here for 5 nights in July 2022 and enjoyed ourselves. Below are some thoughts overall: * There isn't good signage to get to the resort, so make sure you have a GPS. It is tucked away about a mile past a medical center, so trust your GPS to get you there. * The facility appears to be relatively new. Everything is in good condition, but the little wooden dock needs some repairs. Otherwise, things are good. There is a small lake for fishing or just looking at. You can't swim or boat... Read More

You can't swim or boat in it. * The employees working here are all very friendly and helpful. They are 5 stars! * The bathroom cleanliness rating on the Good Sam site is a bit generous at 9.5 and must have been rated when the resort first opened. It was not very clean when we got there. Cobwebs everywhere, dirty floors, toilets that were not cleaned. We did not want to use the showers. By the 3rd day of our stay, they did clean the bathrooms pretty well, but never did remove the cobwebs. I give it 3 stars, but only because it was cleaned during our stay, otherwise I would have given 1 star. * The location is convenient to Beaufort, Hilton Head Island, Parris Island, and other areas. We also loved that it was close to I-95 (about a 1.5 miles), but not just off the highway, so you don't get any road noise. It is a very quiet park! No highway noise at all like you get at some sites. We did hear a train horn one evening but it was far away (and that sound carries far). * Overall, this is a great base camp if you want to explore the tourist sites nearby. It's equally a great place to just park it and relax. We did both. We're keeping Lake Jasper RV Village on our list of places to return to. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. And since it's only about 200 miles from home, it's a nice getaway for us. We'll be back!

It is a very tight turn when you reach the office. They should remove that island that is there. I'm sure it's because the park is old and rigs are now bigger. Also, the park is gated. We had a dirt back in site by the lake. Very pretty view. We loved the path around the lake. No one was there. There was a pool, bathrooms, and laundry. The office staff was friendly and gave us ideas for things in the area. We received lots of packages and they had an area for that too. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at this campground from 12/14/2021 to 01/14/2022. First thing we noticed was the overall grounds were not as well kept as our previous visit. Secondly the security gate that was to be closed after hours was always open. Don't know the problem but after a month time frame it was not repaired. Thirdly the laundry room and barhroom/ shower facilities were not very clean. The shower curtains had mold on them and were not clean. There were clumps of hair on the shower drains. Would not recommend this park. For what is charged for a stay it should be clean for campers to use. Have stayed at smaller campgrounds that cost less and the amenities were clean and sanitary. Lake Jasper RV Park obviously doesn't care as long as they get money.

This is a small campground on the banks of a pretty little lake. The campground is very neat and clean, sites are level and roomy. There are walking paths around the lake. Lake looks perfect for kayaking, although I didn't try that, as it was too cold during my stay. The wifi is surprisingly good here - I had no trouble with email or Internet surfing. The only downside I noticed was road noise from nearby Route 95, but it wasn't loud enough to bother me. I will stay here again in the future. I... Read More

We stayed here twice during a recent trip from Michigan to Florida and back. Both stays were overnight stays where we arrived in the evening and left quite early the following morning. Its close to the freeway but far enough you can't hear the road. Thee is a truck stop on the exit where you can top off with diesel. We travel in a 45' class A so our primary concern is how easily we can pull in and out, followed by full hook-ups. We arrived late both stays and although the office was closed... Read More

We travel in a 45' class A so our primary concern is how easily we can pull in and out, followed by full hook-ups. We arrived late both stays and although the office was closed some one always opened the gate for us. The park roads were tight but manageable. The pull through sites were a bit challenging due to the grade of the entrance and exit roads. The park was clean, quiet, and the facilities appeared to be very nice. We'd stay here again when driving through.

We were just passing through to our destination. We pulled in kind of late in the afternoon and noticed that one of our tires on our camper was a little low. By morning, it was completely flat. We asked the nice lady at the front desk if there was any recommendations on how we can resolve our problem. She had the maintenance man meet us at the maintenance shed and he filled our tire with air, so we could get to a location to have it replaced. Great customer service above and beyond the call.... We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Jasper RV Resort. The back in sites near the lake are very nice, with a state park within walking distance. The facilities were well maintained and the camp host and staff were very pleasant. Savannah and Hilton Head are a 20-25 minute drive from the park. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area in the future.

Great location to stop on the way south. Sites were clean, office staff and park host extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed 2 nights convenient to Hilton Head and Savannah. Connects to hiking trial in Sgt. Jasper park, nice lake for fishing and kayaking. WiFi was strong not overly fast but great for surfing the web and checking emails. Cable tv had a large number of channels with good picture. We will stay here again when traveling to Florida.

Very friendly staff Clean campground Easy access to trails at the county park next door Dog park is a good size and clean Clean facilities Close to restaurants and shopping but the campground feels very remote and rural. Good WiFi

Thank you so much! We wish you safe travels and hope you're planning a return trip soon.

Exceptional facility, great folks, friendly staff and reasonable rates, what more could anyone ask? Surely will return if in the area. We stayed Thanksgiving week 2018 and for the first time ever in 10 years of RV travel the owners and staff served ALL campers a complementary ham and turkey dinner. Apparently they have done this the last number of years as a thank you to customers and we say congrats and thanks to them. Recommend anyone traveling in the area give Camp Lake Jasper a try.

Thank you! Perhaps this could become a new camping tradition? We are so happy you were pleased with your stay and enjoyed the holiday at Camp Lake Jasper. Come back soon.

We stayed at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort for 5 nights. Great location for day trips to Savannah GA, Hilton Head, Tybee Island, etc. Very friendly staff. The full hookups were well placed. 50, 30 and 20 amp electrical service. Very good water pressure (70 psi). We had a back in site (33) next to the lake nice view. The resort is very well maintained. I would like to see the resort carry propane that would be convenient. We would stay there again.

Thank you very much for the positive review. Have a wonderful day and travel safely!

Our site was sand which was not level and posed leveling issues. Each night we heard the trains going by after midnight and the garbage truck coming into the resort about 3:30am. Not as quiet as we were hoping for. The staff was very friendly and the park was clean, but we did not use the pool or bath houses.

All they had was my name and contact number . A major mechanical failure that prevented us from continuing on after day 1 The morning after they were calling me to make sure we were okay. I was more than impressed. We arrived about 4 pm and the woman at the check in was extremely friendly and helpful. She was unable to provide us an escort to our site but did give me very detailed directions to our site (#98) and asked about our water regulator ( Pressure at hookup is 70 psi a fact she stated and is noted on their bulletin board) she advised me that many people have problems with cheaper ones. We found our site with no problem and were off to the dog park as our little one believes it is against the law for her to go while on a leash. The Dog park was clean and even provides a small woodlot that the Kids enjoyed exploring. Collection bags are provided as is a disposal station. On word of caution some of CLJ's neighbors on the other side of the fence keep Chickens and they infiltrate near the dog park but help keep the insect population down so no complaint. Also they are far enough away from our site we never heard them. Back at the site hooking up was breeze. We were parked an level packed sand gravel mix base. The pedestal is conveniently located and clearly marked. Site was Clean with a concrete patio, picnic table and fire ring. We didn't use the laundry room, pool or comfort stations but did walk over to check them out and found all to be very clean Before we left I booked for our return trip. I did have to amend that as we had a delivery problem with new unit a 3 min. phone call too care of that. It is a very easy trek to and from I-95 with some major shopping and dining options nearby. CLJ is at the top of our list for a stay in the near future.

Nice newer facility. Many new upgrades in process. Lake sites provide nice view of Lake Jasper. They are gravel sites with about 20' to 25' between rigs. Good laundry facility. Restrooms and showers are clean, but not air conditioned. Pool is nice. Lots of space to walk your dog. Maintenance person was seen riding around taking care of basics frequently. Nearby access to state park. Hilton Head island close by car. Good place to stay.

The issues I have which lowered my ratings are that the WiFi was not working at all during our stay and the pool was closed during our stay. I realize that many people do not use or care about these services but some of us do and we look for campgrounds that advertise that they provide it. It bothered me when the receipt I got from this campground had in bold print that the WiFi was free and therefore not guaranteed to work. And coincidentally they told us upon check in that it was not working. They also said the pool was closed. The costs to provide these types of services including WiFi, pool access, bathroom and shower facilities, etc. are included in the camping fee. To say they are free and not guaranteed is just ridiculous.

We stayed here twice in December, heading up and back from Asheville from FL. The campground is very nice and well kept, the people very friendly. Sites are large enough and they were not overly busy either of our 2 visits. This will be our "go to" stop over spot for future trips up north. Our only complaint is that all of the sites were dirt. It was wet both days so there was a lot of tracking mud into the RV. Gravel or pavement would be preferable.

Thank you very much for the lovely review, 5thwheelfamily. Happy camping and safe travels!

Top-notch facility with easy access to I-95, local attractions, and the city of Savannah. Well-managed, clean rest rooms, level parking pads, and full service hook ups. Pool was immaculate and it was professionally cleaned every morning by 0600. Very reasonably priced considering the amenities and location. If you're heading to Savannah this is the place to stay. Helpful, courteous staff.

This is a beautiful place on a lake. It reminds me of a suburban neighborhood complete with curbed streets. This is a fairly new park with a store with basic needs. Not my kind of park because I prefer nature and state or federal parks but if a new clean suburban area is what you want this is your park.

Thank You for your review. This year we will be adding more landscaping and updating our lots to better accommodate our fellow campers. Please keep us in your travels.

Stayed here while starting our full time life, about 2 months. Sites are generally good with fairly level grass/gravel parking, and mostly concrete pads with table. Fire rings are provided. Cable TV has descent channels. Very quiet area. Close to I-95, and about 6 miles from a large Wally World, with a pretty new Publix across the parking lot. Definitely enjoyed here, and will stay here when back thru.

Thank you for your review of our campground. We truly appreciate your feedback. Please stop in and camp with us on your future trip.

This was our second time staying at this campground and we love it. It's a great location to stay for visiting all the neat little towns nearby. The campground is practically brand new. The pool is PERFECT. The bath rooms and showers are excellent. The laundry is convenient (make sure you entering your quarters in the correct machine because they are stacked and the coin operation is a bit confusing). The lake is also very nice and provides a great setting. What a relaxing campground. You... Read More

We enjoyed this quiet little campground. Very clean and peaceful. Loved our lake view. It was hot that week in June and more shade would have been a nice relief but that will probably come in time since it does appear to be a newer park. Very nice management. Easy access from 95. Would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for your review. Be sure to visit our facebook page to keep posted on our news. We are happy to be adding more patio pads and some more landscaping this Dec.

Great little park. Right off I95 and close to Beaufort and Hilton Head Island. Most of the interior lots have patio's. We reserved a lake view lot and there was not a patio but it was fine. The lake lot was large and we had plenty of space. Very nice pool and bath house. My kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. This is a very dog friendly park. There were two or three area's designated for dogs and a fenced in Bark Park. All facilities were very clean and we saw the maintenance man constantly riding... Read More

All they need now is a nice playground and they will be all set! Definitely recommend this park and we will be back.

Read More

It is tucked away about a mile past a medical center, so trust your GPS to get you there. * The facility appears to be relatively new. Everything is in good condition, but the little wooden dock needs some repairs. Otherwise, things are good. There is a small lake for fishing or just looking at.

Never removed and were there a month later. Spoke to the lady who supposedly cleaned and claimed she cleaned them every day. Very rude and unprofessional. I have pictures to back up my claims.

I... Read More
