Overall terrible experience! Employees were rude. Grounds keeper literally asked us to move truck so he could cut grass. Golf carts will run you over. No space at all. The ocean sells itself, this place does not!

We rented a home from Ocean Lakes and the online pictures were deceiving. The home needed updates and wasn't cleaned before entering. The internet and cable didn't work half the time and were told no refund could be given to us. We rented a golf cart separately and it was an outrageous rental amount. The bathroom in the home had a moldy musky smell and walls in the home had water stains everywhere. The closet was full on old items and we weren't able to use them for our clothing. Wonderful ocean side park. Steps from the beach. Wonderful water features. Great staff. VERY clean throughout. We used the laundry bundle service and it was great. Also enjoyed ice cream from the snack bar. Lots of classes and activities available through the week. We also attended church service there on Sunday. It is a huge park with huge amenities! We would definitely stay there again.

Very clean and the staff was very friendly. Beautiful place and no need to go any where.

It was like camping in the middle of a frat party - fireworks and loud music and yelling well after midnight - and this was a Wed and Thurs night - hate to imagine weekends streets so tight it was hard to get by parked cars to get the 5th wheel into the space Golf carts flying by everywhere

This is beyond a shadow of a doubt the finest Campsite/Vacation spot for families I have ever seen. What an operation! If you think you need it Ocean Lakes has it. Beautiful Beach, Water Park, Restaurant, Ice Cream, Laundry Service, and nice sized rv sites. The rentals look amazing and the staff was awesome.

Great campground right on the beach! Includes a mini-waterpark. Unfortunately the outdoor pool and slides are only open Jun-Sep.

Good pull thru concrete sites. Paved streets. Easy in/out. Very clean, tidy. Plenty of room between sites. Good WIFI. Lots to do. Water park, store, deli, great Ice Cream. You will not be disappointed.

Well-organized. Great location. A city within a city. All you need is right there. GREAT facilities. Loved the golf cart rentals. Very clean. Very secure.

We stayed at Ocean Lakes Campground the week before Christmas. We were very impressed with the campground - roomy sites with concrete pads, top-notch facilities, and an on-site grocery store and restaurant. The water park was under construction while we were there - can't wait to come back and see it completed!

This was our third year staying at Ocean Lakes and it never disappoints. CG has lots of great amenities, but the beach is obviously the main attraction. Beach is combed every day. The bathhouses are very clean, even the ones closest to the beach, and the CG is very well maintained. Staff are very friendly. This is by far, our favorite campground and look forward to next year.

Campground was great. Very large need to have golf cart or bikes. Bath houses were very nice.

This RV campground is by far one of the best to camp at. The grounds are clean for the most part mowed weekly. The staff go out of their way to help or accommodate you in any request you have of them. Bathhouses are very nice and cleaned several times daily, They have all been upgraded in the last few years.We have been going here since we owned a popup 15 years ago and would not go anyplace else at Myrtle beach for our vacations at the beach. Just the best place to stay.

very friendly, visitor oriented, efficient. clean, well kept area, well maintained. very knowledgeable staff in all areas we experienced. not a single negative during our entire stay.we have a 38' 5hth wheel toy hauler. all sites are pull thru. reservations clerk had very descriptive lot info. anything you might need on site, repairs, store, groceries, etc.

If I had to say one thing not 100% positive about the campground, it would be the roads are a bit snug but even being in a 38' Class A Diesel pusher, I was able to get in and out of our spot - it's really not an issue.. Our kids loved the activities, the pools and the night time cruising in the golf cart. I've read complaints from the past of people driving the golf carts too fast or recklessly, that's not true, the security staff does a PHENOMENAL job of keeping people in check and obeying all the campground rules. It's tough to call this place a campground because it's more of a resort, IMO. They have everything you need, GREAT bathhouses, awesome pools (with an adventure park being built this winter), nice laundry facility, grocery store, hamburger and ice cream joint, everything you need. The pricing is more than reasonable. We loved it so much, we made reservations for next year, the 3rd day into our trip and made them for 10 days instead of just a week. I can't say enough great things about this place. If you read a bad review, consider the source or the fact, lets be honest, not everyone can be made happy all the time. Bottom line - we found a yearly vacation destination that will be yearly family tradition that started in 2015 for my wife and 2 young daughters (8 & 5) for the rest of our lives.

We decided it would be best to leave as the storm and heavy rains were forecast to hit the next day. We went to the office and told them of our intentions to cut our 6 day stay to just one day. It was very crowded with many other campers leaving as well. The staff immediately understood our request and offered a full refund of the unused days. We didn't even need to ask. This was unexpected and greatly appreciated. We cannot thank the staff enough and highly recommend Ocean Lakes.

we love ocean lakes camprground. we have been camping here since 1993. Only place we stay at other than Fort Wilderness in Florida. You will be competely satisfied with your stay.
