Close to Rt95 which was quietly nearby. Right off the highway with plenty of nice lots. Convenient to food and fuel. For what we wanted it had everything we needed. Friendly staff and full hookups made it a great experience for our overnight stay. We had a spacious pull through site that was well maintained to enjoy. I recommend this area for an all in one stay. We will definitely be stopping back when we pass through again. A sweet find for us.
We stayed in the Walterboro, SC area one night on our way from Sneads Ferry, NC to Lake City, FL. The reservation process was done over the phone; no email confirmation. The space for our class C 25' worked well for pulling through. The setting is tall pine trees; a bit messy with the soft soil. The neighbors kept to themselves; except for the guy that shared his smoke from the pine needles he decided to light that smoked us out. A call to the office addressed the issue. The nightly rate was $35 or so each night.
You will hear noise from the highway but it is just a steady sound.

Found this spot midway between our places in VA and FL. Obviously an older facility but well kept. Nice folks. Huge spacious pull thrus, lost of mature pines and acres of grass to walk the pups. And a clean fenced in dog run. Yes, it's right on I-95 but one trades a bit of noise for ease of access. Their slogan says "longest and widest pull thrus east of the Mississippi and I have to agree. Making this our go-to on runs up and down I-95 or low-country visits.
We stayed one night in a 40ft motorhome towing. The sites were very long which was so nice! And level as well. Beautiful pine trees all around. That does make for a lot of pine cones and needles (could not see much actual grass) but was not an issue. The staff was extremely nice and making reservations was a breeze. You can hear the traffic from I-95 but it was like white noise to my husband and me. We did not use the restrooms so can not review. We would definitely stop here again.
Hello, a little disappointed with this campground. I have stayed at this campground before many times before, but probably not anymore. It is just ok for an overnight stay. Made reservations this year for overnight stay and I was not told they had raised their rates. Found out when we signed in and was advised the rate had gone up, a $9.00 increase. Understand they are required to increase their prices occasionally. I checked and they had not updated this on their website. A 22% increase... Read More

If you could see where the increase was used to better the campground, well that's another story. Good luck staying in business, pulling this type of action.

Great park very appealing. Management very nice and helpful. Nice pool. Would definitely make it a stop again.
I'm sorry I can only give this park 2 stars. The staff is friendly and it is very close to I-95 making it a perfect overnight stop. However, the park needs a lot of love. While the sites are long and adequate for large rigs, they are mostly bare ground. During heavy rains, this could quickly become an issue. Re-grading the sites and adding a stone base would be a huge improvement and draw folks to a longer stay. The park is relatively close to coastal attractions. Also, the infrastructure could... Also, the infrastructure could use some updating. Our water and electric poles were very close together and our spigot was close to the ground making it difficult to attach our filter. We stayed 3 nights and would use this park again, but only on a single night basis.

Like camping in a swamp. But it is what they say it is. Yes, it is the longest & widest Pull-Thru sites east of the Mississippi. Quick & easy access off of I-95 South heading towards Florida. Was a good thing since I did not have to even disconnect the tow vehicle. $32.00 per night, but for full hook up, so you get what you pay for. Galvanized water pipe attached to the electric pedestal ? VERY SERIOUS concerns about the safety and situations with electrical pedestal. No breakers,... Read More

Galvanized water pipe attached to the electric pedestal ? VERY SERIOUS concerns about the safety and situations with electrical pedestal. No breakers, so I carefully tested with my voltmeter and power guard connector. 30 Amp & 15 Amp Outlet. 15 Amp outlet looked burnt, the 30 AMP plug was so worn & loose I had to bungee the Power guard to the pedestal to keep it from falling out. That's not all either ... Though out the campground & in the dog walking areas were broken and exposed electrical outlets. Yes, I tested and some were still alive ! VERY DANGEROUS. This place needs a major update and a visit from the local utility inspector at the very least. Sites where nothing but mud holes. Both vehicles needed washed to get the ton of mud from the tires. Yes, it was raining when we arrived, but I am certain that there is gravel, crush & run stone available in South Carolina. Would never recommend anyone that care about their safety to stay here.

Restful, peaceful park to spend the night, highly recommended.
Friendly staff, easy check in and out. Priced right. The bathrooms and showers are dated however they were painting the showers while we were there. This a great spot for an overnight stop. All sites are pull-through and the sites are wide. This campground WILL be a regular stop for us when traveling up and down the east coast. Green Acres is the place to be...
This place is a dump. Fine for an in-and-out stay since it is close to I-95, but other than that, it is renter beware. The roads are unpaved and rutty, too many trees close to the road. The power box is set up weird. 50 amp on one side, 30 on the other. No 110 outlet. Would not stay here again. If you read the comments on their website, they all sing the campground's praises. My guess is the owner wrote them.
I've stayed here a few times, because it is conveniently off of I-95. It's just an overnight stop for me. It seems maintenance is slipping. The men's room is badly in need of repair and updating, and a thorough cleaning. The grass needed cutting, and fire ant mounds killed. It would be nice if they removed abandoned trailers. If you just stay the night and in your rig, it's okay.
Only Good for an over night stay. Very easy on and off the interstate. We stayed here 1 night on our way north. Check-in was very welcoming. Campground is VERY OLD. Our site was OK. Level and mowed but there is No shut off for the electric. So you have to plug in with the power on...NOT GOOD. The bathrooms were pretty clean. Pool was Closed. Park guidelines say the laundry closes when the office does but another camper said they were open 24/7. Did not use the WiFi. Cable did not work. They have a very old playground...looks like it's from the 50's. We don't have a dog but it looked like a cute dog park. Gave 3 stars because we would stay here again but only for an overnight stay because of their location.

This is one of the worst campgrounds we have ever stayed at in our country wide touring. The grass has not been mowed in weeks. When I asked them to mow it they said sometime next week it will get mowed hopefully. They say they have a pool but it is only open on some rare hours. Closes at 6pm every night for sure and weekends hours are like 2-6pm. The pool has white water. You cannot see the bottom in the three foot section. You cannot even see more than 8 inches down. Some permanent residents said the owners only open the pool when they know there will be no city inspections because they will not pass. They have a good size clubhouse with nothing inside no supplies, no games for the kids, nothing except an old playground. There is nothing to do here except what you brought with. There is not even a fire ring to enjoy an evening campfire. We paid for the weekly rate so we are stuck, otherwise we would have left awhile ago. If you like cats you will like this campground because they are everywhere.

We were greeted very warmly, sent to 3 different sites but could not open steps because of standing water. Told to pick out any site and let them know where we were at. The park is very run down, many permanent trailers in sad condition and not taken care of. I would not recommend this park to anyone.
Wide pull thru sites. Cable was iffy. Wi-Fi horrible. OK for an overnight stop. Did not use rest rooms or showers.
This place should be condemned! Grass was 3 ft. high. How did they ever get a rating from Good Sam Club??? Did not go to restrooms as grass was so deep I didn't want to go thru it. I called the desk 3 times trying to get wi fi to no avail. After 6 pm. they don't answer phone. There were 3 people apparently living there that we using an old reel type push mower (no motor). All I can say is we had electric. The pits!!! Take this sign down for Good Sam--horrible!
Stayed one night while traveling north for the summer. Seems to be a nice park with friendly people but again we only stayed one night. Arrived shortly after 6PM and our reservation info was waiting at the late arrival booth, found site without a problem and got set up quick. 10 minutes later power went out. Checked power box and had no power. Others around us had power. Luckily we had enough power cord to reach the outlet on the next open site because we got nothing but recordings after hours.... Left a message but as of this date (2 days later) still no call back. As for the power box, it had duct tape covering where the breakers should be and the notes that the 110v is out. No cutoff switch either. Definitely NOT up to electrical code. Nice place, nice people, good price, but infrastructure need some updating.

Easy access close to the highway perfect for overnight stop to or from Florida. Sites are not even. The electrical connection was not working and it was dark happily i found a post with an electrical box and reset the breaker. Later i went to the men's bathroom, no electricity again but it was OK in women's bathroom so the electrical system seems outdated.
We stayed overnight and found the campground older but in nice pcondition, Check-in was 1,2,3, pick a site, pay, and go. We had a hiccup with a breaker flipping after we set-up (Located on power pole instead of site box), but afterwards the manager gracefully fixed our oversight. Great attitudes for a campground, We look forward to stopping again as our needs arise.
When we reserved this camp ground we asked "how good was their wi-fi". We were told it was a good signal at this time of the year because the snowbirds had all gone home. Unfortunately, this was not true. We could not get on-line with any of our three devices (laptop, I pad, nor cell phone). I was able to get on-line sitting at a picnic table outside the office. But even that signal was too slow to be useful for anything more demanding than gmail. What a disappointment. I also talked to other... Read More

We weren't looking to stream videos, skype or any demanding games. But since internet is so important for me to keep in touch with my business, we won't be staying here again.

The campground is past its prime and is in dire need of some TLC. Most notably the RV sites themselves. We arrived after a rain and the sites are quite literally mud holes. One site nearby was a small pond. If you parked there you'd have to walk through 2-3" of water. None that we saw have any gravel and most do not have a concrete pad for the wood picnic table or a landing for stepping out of your camper onto. Technically the roads are gravel but are also in need of maintenance.
Very basic and simple. Very well kept and clean. Got a nice size space for four days at late notice since we were heading south to escape the Jonas Blizzard. Check-in was easy and the people very nice. Had TV and Wi-Fi and since it was January we did not use pool etc. Showers were clean. Lucked out and had awesome neighbors who helped us when our truck battery was dead. Definitely a good place to stop for overnight or a few days. Did not venture out to see Walterboro. Clean campground, but allot of trees, but good cable TV sites are level, sightly muddy in some areas, but mostly nice some road noise but really did not notice it in the motorhome.
Very nice campground with extra long pull thru shaded sites. Great campground to relax after a long day of driving.
We have stayed here many times but for only 1 or 2 nights as we use it for a break between home and our destinations. It is conveniently located close to I-95 and a Cracker Barrel restaurant. The sites are very large, quite and restful. The restrooms would get 4 stars if air conditioned (spring and fall are fine without a/c but in the summer it's miserable). It is just me and my spouse, no pets traveling in a 33' MH pulling a tow dolly.
While traveling to Florida we stopped for the night in South Carolina. The office was closed for the day, but the self check in was very easy. We chose a pull thru site with full hook-ups. The sites are level and hook-ups are easily assessable. The sites are large and well maintained. Our miniature daschound was very happy with the nice dog park at the RV park.
