The location is perfect, it was close to Mount Rushmore and within walking distance of food and shops. The bathrooms were closed so they say due to Covid although every campground we've been to so far from New York to South Dakota has been open. The sites are extremely tight, it was difficult to maneuver in and out, we couldn't even open our awning because of a light pole that was part of our site. Campers next to us pulled in with a pop up and there wasn't even enough room for a separate tent so... Read More

The bathrooms and showers were average, old and could have been cleaner- with spiders, webs, dust and dirt in the corners. The shower benches... Read More

They charge a key deposit for the bathrooms so be sure to return those before you leave. The location is right in town and a little hard to spot but I think they are fixing their sign. Lots of food and shops within walking distance.
