This stay started out badly when I tried to make a reservation by phone and was told it would be difficult as the owner does not like the reservation system so tends to put people where he wants. The lady took the info and reservation fee info and said we would be on site #3. We were only staying overnight and requested a pull thru which she said #3 was. Upon arrival the office door had a handwritten sign saying be back in 5 min. 3o minutes later no sign of anyone, no answer with the doorbell... Read More

Upon arrival the office door had a handwritten sign saying be back in 5 min. 3o minutes later no sign of anyone, no answer with the doorbell and no phone answer. A camper drove by and offered to find someone but couldn't so he showed us the remaining pull thru - #1!! A lady eventually knocked on the door and apologetically had us fill out the remaining paperwork, no map of the campground, no info re trash disposal, no info re anything. we got our needed info from other campers. Site barely level and our neighbor offered to close his awning so we could get our slides out! The roads in and out of the area from major roads are horrible 1 1/2 lanes - you hope you do not meet anyone. We now have a 30 ft Class C but would not have been safe with our former 40 ft Class A . There is no cable, there is supposedly wifi but no info on it and no TV reception. There is a pool but unable to access as community center locked. We would not recommend this place to anyone and it is definitely not worth the $45 per night stay.

Everything was fine until we saw the site they wanted to put us on. The site was on a hill that are RV would not level too and to small. After we did back into the site and put the slide outs out we had 24" between us and the rv next to us. We had no room to put the awing out or sit outside. The slide outs on the DS were in the site next to us at this point I didnt care. We didnt use the sewer hook up because we would need to be able to pump are tanks up hill and they are gravity feed. I gave the... Read More

I gave the overall rating a 1 star because of the site they put us on was to small.
Facility rating 2 because the people were nice.
Restroom rating 2 walk by didnt look clean and kept going.
Appeal rating a 4 because we were right on the water.
