I would not go there again. We arrived Sat. 11/2023 and we had booked the place back in Jan. They put us in a very small spot( site 73) that I had to jack knife the trailer 3 times to get it in there. (25 foot) Once all set up found out the cable doesnt work but the wifi does. There is no cable hook up in these 3 sites which the office failed to tell us. So they said we can move us to site number 354 and everything works. So we moved and once all got up again the cable still does not work and now... Read More

So we moved and once all got up again the cable still does not work and now there is no wifi at all. You loose the wifi signal about half way down to the site. GREAT so I went back and ask them whats up and they said they were not aware of this and they will send somebody to the site to check it out. We waited a hour and a half and nobody showed. We had to go because we had reservations for a tour. When we got back nothing changed and they said that they dont know whats going on and could not give any refund of any type. For $52.00 a night I would think they would have their ducks in a row, if they want return campers. Never again

We stayed a couple of nights at this campground to be able to tour the Chickamauga National Battlefield park and Chattanooga generally. It was very attractive to be in a very wooded area part way up a large hill and yet still so close to a fairly major city. We arrived a bit late but the "follow me" driver was still waiting for us and showed us to our site. Our site wasn't level side to side and it took two levels of blocks under the tires on the low side to fix that issue. The various RV sites... Read More

Our site wasn't level side to side and it took two levels of blocks under the tires on the low side to fix that issue. The various RV sites have a varied amount of space between them, the bigger rigs than ours tended to get sites that were more generous with the space and also appeared to be much more level. If we pass through this area again I would try to stay at this facility but only if they would be willing to allocate one of the more generous and level spaces for our use.

Nice campground but our site was not level. Campground worker indicated some sites were damaged by recent after effects of hurricane and are not level. Worker seemed more intent on driving his UTV around than in helping with an obviously poorly leveled site. However, folks in office were great...friendly, easy to work with. Overall a decent campground which will hopefully recover from hurricane washouts.
This is the first place we stayed with our camper & we were not disappointed. Our water tank is broken and couldn't have it delivered before we left for our trip, so we had to use the campground showers and bathrooms. I was amazed at how clean they were. Our kids loved the playground and pool. & Our pups loved the bark park! We took a tour of the cave & our tour guide was awesome! Walmart is is about 5 minutes away which is great because we weren't as prepared as we thought we were. If we're ever... Read More

Lovely campground. Beautiful setting with mountain views. Adjacent cave looked to be interesting. Close to interstate, but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Curb trash pickup. Decent spacing.
Visited this campground earlier this month. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cave tour on the property was fun and educational since it is a "living" cave. We decided to stay an extra night but had to move due to site reservation online. Seems to be some conflict with the online reservation system. Recommend they always have several sites that are available to those traveling through. Only problem we had was when we had a blowout and had to stay an extra day for repairs. Recommend they always have several sites that are available to those traveling through. Only problem we had was when we had a blowout and had to stay an extra day for repairs. The added night for the site we were in was not a problem. However found out that this parks rate policy is that prices go up with occupancy. Potential campers need to know the rates are not standard and can go up or down. Also, there needs to be available, a current list of area attractions as several were closed or in poor repair. An example of this was the Chattanooga Choo Choo area of downtown Chattanooga. Finally, don't miss the world class aquarium and Coker Tire Company antique car collection!

Large campground with relatively new owners. Easy on/off from I-24. Raccoon Mountain Caverns located on the property, so you don't have to travel far to find something unusual to do. Seems popular with kid camping groups on the weekends. There is a good dog park, plus hiking trails nearby. Campground has nice facilities, including pool and exercise room. Looked like most of the short term sites were pull-thru. All sites are gravel. Shade trees, picnic tables, and fire rings. Good WIFI and cable.... Read More

Looked like most of the short term sites were pull-thru. All sites are gravel. Shade trees, picnic tables, and fire rings. Good WIFI and cable. We are full-timers and stayed a month, so were relegated to a section in the rear of the property with back-in sites. These longer term sites did not appear as well maintained as the overnight sites, which is not uncommon at campgrounds (not sure why). Our particular site was not level side-to-side, which maxed out our leveling jacks. The sewer connection was at the same level as our RV outlet, so I had to improvise. The bathrooms were too far away from the long-term sites to use, so cannot rate their cleanliness. Other than that, our site was fine. Chattanooga has lots of things to do, so I am sure we will be back. We travel in a 36' 5th wheel.

We stayed here for 4 days and this is a nice clean, friendly park with great views of the mountains. We were lucky enough to stay on a site that was on a corner with a beautiful view of the mountains! Very nice staff and many attractions to see in Chattanooga. The wifi was good and good reception with our satellite.
We stayed across street from where office and caves are, which is also where bathhouse is located. Perhaps a bit far for other sites. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pick up trash 2x per day. Very clean and well maintained. Good wifi and cable TV. They had several events for campers to participate in (i.e. movie night, ice cream social and hot dogs on another day). My biggest complaint is that the sites can get very muddy when it rains.
We stayed across street from where office and caves are, which is also where bathhouse is located. Perhaps a bit far for other sites. Staff very helpful and friendly. Readily agreed to us changing sites for more room. Very safety conscious when storms hit. Pick up trash 2x per day. Very clean and well maintained. Good wifi. You can UBER to downtown for $11.50.
This was the first time I have ever gone camping on my own. Camp ground was easy to move around in with a camper. Sites were easy to set up in. Beautiful scenery surrounds the area. I felt safe leaving my camper to go site seeing. Good location, good service, good business.
Overall this park was nice. Very convenient to nearby attractions. Quiet with a large greenspace. Our one complaint was that when we checked in we realized that they had not given us the GoodSam discount as advertised. When we asked about it they informed us that they had a "no refund" policy.
