Stayed one night as we was traveling back to Ky. Pool is decent, lake access nice and can fish along a large portion near the camping, dock, small store nice, bathhouse was big, clean and showers up to date. Easy in and out of park, all hookups where newer with a light. That made it nice when coming in after dark. Very pleased . I would come again for a weekend stay for sure.
Soaring Eagle People were very nice. All gravel roads and sites, the sites around us were level. We were in the upper level and it is very tight. The neighbors awing was out and our slide was almost touching. Pretty much the same on the other side. If vehicles are not parked within their site, it makes it very difficult to get a Big Rig out. Concrete pad with picnic table. Restrooms & Showers were very clean. Pool available. Connections were easy and convenient, we had full hook-ups. Right... Read More

Very nice lake down by the lower section.

Overnight stay, traveling through area. Easy On/Off Interstate, lower pull through site showed standing water, and needed 1 board to level trailer. Noise from interstate (Next to Park) was constant during the night. Employee at the office was friendly. Did not use the Bathhouses, so not rated. Lake was drained, mud showing, proble due to the weather.
Friendly and helpful staff. Easy off and on interstate. Traffic noise a bit distracting ( needs sound barriers ) Sites are much to close for a long stay but ok for an overnight. Longer term sites a larger.
This is the second time that we stayed in this park. Manager/employees are very friendly and the bath/showers are the cleanest we have encountered. A little road noise, by we sleep with the fan on and it didn't bother us. The spaces are on a slight grade, but level. Both times we stayed it rained and the lower spaces gathered a little standing water. Best to move up the grade.
We booked a site on the lake, but when we arrived, we were told that the water had been turned off on the lake sites because of possible freeze, Okay, so we stay in the very crowded full hook-up area. Someone just arrived next to us, and their tow vehicle butts right up against our outside area!! How about a little more space? Next, the website for Soaring Eagle painted a very idyllic picture of the campground. We arrived only to find that the freeway (US 40) is only a stone's throw away from... Read More

Next, the website for Soaring Eagle painted a very idyllic picture of the campground. We arrived only to find that the freeway (US 40) is only a stone's throw away from the campground--a constant din.
Will we stay here again? NO!! Lessons to be learned,

Clean facilities, not a lot of shade but weather was not as hot. There is road noise as park is very close to the freeway.
